In 2015, I had a shatteringly traumatic experience during a pelvic exam with Dr. Williams (I have neuroproliferative vestibulodynia) when she tried to push a vaginal ultrasound past damaged tissue. I had warned her that I had pain in that area. She assumed it was vaginismus and told me to “push out” while attempting to push the probe past the diseased skin. It felt violent. Although she stopped immediately when I gasped with pain, she reacted with shock and didn’t know how to appropriately respond. In 2024, I had an unusually difficult recovery from a laparoscopy with her and reported stabbing, ripping pain underneath the incision site at 3 months post-op. I had trouble walking, bending and sitting. She insisted it had nothing to do with surgery, blamed it on “GI issues” and left me like garbage to die. I maintained my composure, then cried at the park across the street. It took 6 months to recover and walk normally. It was distressing as I have no family and could not afford more time off work. She could have been supportive of my unusually long recovery but dismissed me instead. I also had to show her how to localize my vulvar vestibule and pointed out the erythematous tissue. She agreed it was red. Instead of documenting the red tissue, she wrote that I had healthy vulvar tissue. Always forgets my history, I had to remind her every time about my extreme pain with pelvic exams. Completely shell shocked.

Dr. Williams quite literally saved my life. After being turned away by other surgeons because my case was considered too complicated, she was the one who finally listened and refused to give up on figuring out what was wrong. She is incredibly smart, thorough, and truly driven to help her patients - always researching, always looking for answers. Living with endometriosis can take everything from you, but Dr. Williams gave me my health, confidence, and quality of life back. More than a decade later, I’m still grateful she took a chance on my case when no one else would.

One of the most amazing doctors I have ever had. I felt like I was in the care of a loving mother. When I was finished surgery with her, she said “you have a beautiful uterus and will have no trouble getting pregnant”. And to this day I believe her positivity impacted my belief and reduced my stress around it all, and despite having complex endometriosis and fibroids, she was right and I never had any issues getting pregnant (and now have 2 beautiful babes.)

This "woman" is NO endometriosis excision specialist. She is evil and arrogant. STAY AWAY!

This woman says she performs excision for endometriosis. Where was we fellowship-trained for three years? I have great friends referred who I now have to have re-excision because she does not know anything about excision. She is also rude, condescending, and during post op visits talked solely about herself. It is about the PATIENT! Not the physician.

Dr. Williams is perhaps the best doctor I have ever met. She is warm, compassionate, thoughtful, knowledgeable and skilled. She is simply the best and I am very grateful that she is my doctor.

She is the most caring and knowledgeable Dr I had. She cares. She wants you to be optimized, healthy and to celebrate the women you are. The did several interventions including a partial hysterectomy. She has magic hands. I love Dr Cristina Williams.

I had a few in-person visits and a few telephone consultations as well as a hysterectomy surgery with Dr. Williams so I was able to get to know her as a wonderful doctor. I had mixed feelings in the beginning because I felt our initial appointment felt a bit rushed for my questions but she also was very thorough and explained a lot. She has a great staff working with her and all were very supportive. I realized that there were so many questions and concerns to cover so I wrote them down, did some of my own research and verified some things with her. Once I explained some ongoing symptoms she prescribed me the medication I needed to greatly reduce my ongoing symptoms and anxiety. I had a complex case of stage 4 endometriosis, atypical hyperplasia endometrium, kissing ovaries and an enlarged uterus due to several large fibroids that were the size of a 4 week embryo. To top it off, the right cyst had created a low-grade cancer in my appendix (that was successfully removed) and was starting to attach to my bowels and colon. Given the unique circumstances, she did an amazing job with the surgery. It took longer and I had a few extra incisions but some minor stitches is worth way more to me than any concerns about developing cancer or the endometriosis attacking my other organs. She gave me the mantra to ease my anxiety that after the surgery, everything will be calm. No worries about cancer and no more periods! After all was done, she prescribed a natural hormone and responded fairly quickly to any concerns afterwards. I'm happy not to deal with constant spotting, heavy bleeding, major cramps and back pain, fatigue, headaches, nausea, vomiting and lightheadedness, some of which were brought on by the anemia. I'm happy to have had her as my doctor.
