Excellent, understanding, asks the right questions and has very good medical assistant.
Not the best experience. Wish everyone a good surgical procedure. Please stay after sergery and ask questions about how to care for your self after sergery. Better off ask questions at first appointment, so that at least you know how much time off you will need and how to care for yourself after sergery. Make sure that when the stitches get removed, that all of them are removed. If you can't see THE SCAR , ask for a mirror to confirm that all is clear.
She's a very kind and helpful young Dr... I seen her in hospital and also in person... Tyvm
Had emergency surgery on per bowel every instance was as best as possibly could Her nurses and staff and the operating room were wonderful and try to keep me at ease. Anxiety got me a couple times I cannot say good things about her.
She is a knowledgeable physician and surgeon and an amazing person.
I was referred to Dr Heed for surgery after being diagnosed with colo/rectal cancer in 2016. She was always upfront with me and compassionate. She did a wonderful job of surgery with another surgeon. I can’t say enough about how quickly all the necessary tests were arranged and how comprehensive her care was. I owe her my life. Thank you Dr Heed. -Doris
I have been waiting on a formal diagnosis for about 2 years now, much of this wait based on the time it takes to see a specialist. I am concerned for the gastroscopy procedure I had in hospital. I was told I would have a throat spray and light sedation, but be awake. I was prepared for this procedure and arrived at the 7 am time I was given for the 8 am procedure. The department I went to did not open until 7:30 am. When I was taken to the procedure room, I was told what to do, given the throat spray, the device to bite on, and then WOKE UP an hour or so later, incredibly confused …. I was not just sedated, but put to sleep. I had no idea what was going on, my ride taking me home and no idea what to do when I got home. It was a terrible day as I felt that I was not given the proper information about what would happen to me. I found some post-“op” info in my backpack the next day and have no idea how it got there - it was a terrible experience for me and although many people were involved in this, I feel I was sent home without proper care/attention and lost that whole day with pain I didn’t know I would have.
