Dr. Chuong is the most competent and caring doctor I have ever met in my life. I cannot thank him enough. He is highly experienced and listed all my options during my initial visit. I had visited several clinics and was most impressed that he really put patients' best interest first. He is definitely not the kind of business doctor who only tries to sell patients the most expensive procedure. I can tell he takes care of each and every patient like his own family. The IVF Coordinator, Antoinette is excellent. She always works above and beyond what an office nurse is expected to do. I did not think I could get the same kind of medical and personal care anywhere else. My husband and I are grateful to Dr. Chuong and his superb staff. I will definitely recommend his office to any of my families and friends.

we ve wased our money at this place. Dr James Chuong only tale cash or personal check. he charge 5% fee for credit card. we did 1 cycle of ivf with him. on the day of the transfer. we ve waited more than 1 hour in the wait room even with the appointment. it took him more than an hour to complete the tranfer and my wife was bleeding after the transfer. the IVF was unsuccessful. at the following up he recommended my wife to have endometriosis surgery but she just at that surgery 6 months ago. we went to get a second opinion and my wife have no endometriosis. we also found out that the transfer were not supposed to be more than an hour or you will have very small chance of success. Dr chuong seem to be nice but i dont think he is update with the latest technologies in his field. i would avoid this office.

I NEVER leave comments but for something as important as fertility and a woman's desire to start a family, I will say this...DON'T EVER GO TO DR. CHUONG. RUN! DON'T WALK IN THE OTHER DIRECTION.

first of all his staff is rude, unprofessional and the first appointment I had, they were 30 minutes late opening up the office. their lunch hours are from 12 - 1pm, the girls showed up 1:30 giggling and having a good time.

secondly, he sent me to HIS doctor to do have an HSG done. the lady that he sent me to was cold, and distant. she told me that the dye wasn't going through and that BOTH of my tubes were blocked. "the only way you can have a baby is to have ivf" she said as she walked out of the room. something didn't feel right so I went back to my obgyn and had another hsg done. it showed that both of my tubes were STILL opened. I went back to him and he was quick to talk about me having an ivf until I showed him the hsg image from my doctor that showed my tubes were still opened.

I felt inside that he was a con man, he didn't seem knowledgeable or professional at all. the straw that broke the camel's back is when I faxed my husbands semen analysis to him. he called two weeks later to inform me that his sperm's motility was low, the volume was low and they were abnormal and that I should schedule another visit to talk about ivf. this was all bogus because my husbands doctor informed us AGAIN, that his analysis was good and he was good to go.

dr. chuong will order fifty million tests if you let him. he orders a new test EVERY TIME you visit him. I decided that I had had enough of him and got a new doctor. his rude nurse tried to charge me $35 to release my records. they lost the cd with my hsg image on it and didn't have my records ready for me.

if you are trying to have a child I know how trying and stressful the waiting and hoping is. you need a doctor who's knowledgeable and caring and will give you the best shot you need. dr. chuong is NOT the answer. he will waste your time. do yourself a favor and spare yourself the heartache. find someone else.

This doctor seems to be a good person and he may be a good doctor to some, but I would not recommend him. I made the mistake of having him do surgery on me which turned out to be a disaster. He orders a lot of unnecessary tests and the one test which should have detected my condition wasn't done...an MRI would have made a world of difference. As far as the staff, you can forget it. There's a girl at the front desk which doesn't belong there. She's blatantly rude. The nurses seemed fine, but always rushed & when you become comfortable with them, they're gone. I wouldn't recommend hime.

Dr. Chuong was able to help me successfully get pregnant after several miscarriages before attempting IVF. I carried my baby to term and she is beautiful & healthy!

I was extremely happy with Dr. Chuong and his staff. Antoinette was the best !! She explained everything to me in detail. Dr. Chuong called and checked up on me personally. I have had a bad experience with IVF with a Houston doctor before I came to Dr. Chuong. This experience was totally opposite. I finally found a doctor who actually cares about his patients and is not all about the money. I am currently 4 weeks pregnant with IVF at 37 years old. To be honest, I'd decided that regardless of my pregnancy results, I'd recommend Dr. Chuong to anyone. He really is a caring and experienced doctor. Thank you Dr. Chuong and staff for making my dream come true.

We got pregnant on our first IVF cycle. The IVF coordinator, Antoinette, was fantastic, and caring, and the Embryologist was Excellent. The administrative Staff we dealt with was cheerful. We are a "modern family", and Dr Chuong was the first IVF clinics that would work with us without discrimination (And we were screened at 4 IVF clinics prior to finding Cooper Institute and all of them expressed hesitation to work with our untraditional family)

We've had a very positive experience w/ Dr. Chuong & his staff & are now pregnant w/ a singleton. We had a lot of ups & downs to get here but through it all, Dr. Chuong & his staff explained the procedures, the odds of each, and were there for all our questions, even answering via email in the evenings. ART IS expensive esp. if insurance doesn't help, but go into it expecting that reality & as an informed, educated patient knowing the procedures & the likelihood of success. Cooper Institute was very helpful at knowing when our insurance would pay due to previous cysts. With a perfect cycle, IVF success rates are only about 40%, which means multiple cycles may be needed. We had to do 2 to get a successful outcome but then we knew that both from research & Dr. Chuong's patient explanations. After all, what are your chances without ART? I would recommend Cooper Institute to anyone esp. hard to serve patients, who other clinics may refuse to keep their success rates artificially high.
