Got a referral from my doctor to get my sons tonsils out. Walked into his office. He took 2 seconds to look. He decided YES he would remove them. And less than a week later he removed them. My son is 7 and I was worried. He did an amazing job and my son had ZERO pain. He never said his throat hurt once! I believe that is because Dr. Whong has a skilled hand. I would repeat this experience anytime!

Told me what was wrong. Even did a scope through my nose to see what had happened. Told me to call him, at any time, next time this occurred.

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED! After waiting for over an hour past my appointment time, the Dr. spent spent about 2 min talking to me (most of which was me asking questions and him giving quick, not thorough answers), looked in my ear for about 3 seconds, and told me my problem is hearing loss!! He then directed me to the nurse refer me to get a hearing test at a different facility!! Worst $80 I ever spent!!! He didn't seem to care about my symptoms, didn't elaborate at all on possible causes for my condition, but instead basically said "your ear looks good, so it must be hearing loss." He is not caring, compassionate or thorough. I will never go back and never recommend him to friends or family. Worst experience I've ever had with a Doctor, and this guy is a specialist? I now see the problems of our health care system first hand!

Don't let Whong's nice website fool you. He doesn't give a crap about YOU or your problem. You'll wait for ages in his cramped, windowless waiting room. The staff is nice, but overworked. When he finally arrived in the exam room he came at me with NO gloves on. (Hello, Swine Flu anyone?) He didn't listen well to my symptoms and just told me to come back when the growth in my throat was bigger. He gave me no advice about how to relieve the pain or swelling. It was just "wham, bam, take the money and run." Also, his accent is very thick and hard to understand. He is not caring, compassionate or thorough. I would never go back and never recommend him to friends or family.
