He did my C section and delivered my son with great care and expertise. I felt truly lucky to be in such skilled, kind, and experienced hands, and I’m grateful for the smooth recovery I had under his care.

I cannot say enough about how grateful I am for Dr. Rosengarten. During one of the most difficult times of my life, a heartbreaking miscarriage, Dr. Rosengarten was more than just a doctor. He was a source of comfort, compassion, and unwavering support. Their kindness, patience, and willingness to truly listen helped me feel seen and cared for when I needed it most. Now, as I walk through this pregnancy, Dr. Rosengarten continues to provide that same level of care, blending expertise with genuine empathy. Every appointment feels like I’m in safe hands, not only because of their medical knowledge, but because of the reassurance and hope they bring. It’s rare to find a doctor who makes you feel like more than just a patient, but Dr. Rosengarten does exactly that. I am so deeply thankful for their guidance through both grief and joy, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Liz was kind once she got to know you and you showed her respect. :)

I dislike leaving poor reviews, but I had 2 separate awful experiences with this man and feel like it's my duty to warn others in Vancouver. I saw him years ago after being referred for intense period pain and heavy periods. He dismissed me in the waiting room and told me I shouldn't be there, and made me cry. It turned out his receptionist hadn't canceled my appt (I'd waited months for) because she was sick and he'd been needed in hospital that night. So he then takes me in, looks at my chart, flips it shut and says "are you going to have kids one day?" and I said maybe. He prescribes some pain pills and then said "have a baby and your pain will probably go away". He then filled my arms with prenatal samples I did not ask for and walked me to the door. Ten years later? I've been diagnosed with advanced endometriosis and it's likely responsible for my secondary infertility. This could've been addressed years ago. The misogynistic undertone to that visit was very clear. Second interaction, years later. I'd just given birth after a failed 3-day induction and hadn't slept in 5 days. Emergency c-section, traumatic birth. He comes into my recovery room, and without even saying hello to us he announces "Welcome to the 100 days of hell!" with no context about newborn sleep or checking my chart. Checks some things and leaves. Later that week I was having panic attacks, hadn't slept in days and was hallucinating. I had to be seen by someone else and medicated. My lack of sleep was a joke to him. I'm sure others have had a positive experience with this physician, and if that's the case, I'm very pleased for you. If you're in a position to get alternative care from a different OBGYN during pregnancy or post-partum, please do so. If not, just go into your interactions with this knowledge and advocate for yourself if he pulls this awful behaviour. Take a sabbatical, dude. Good grief.

In my first meeting with this doctor, he insulted a baby he just had delivered. (Saying ugliest baby ever) Then he proceeded to tell me that he knew more about my body than I did after looking at my ultrasounds. After my incessant complaining about pain he agreed to a laparoscopy. To which he found nothing… because he’s not an excision specialist. I had to stay over in the hospital because my bed is quite low to the ground. In the morning, he came into my room and said other women had it worse than me and that I should’ve gone home. Later in the appointment, I was told to either get pregnant or go on birth control control. I picked the lesser of the two evils and still suffer greatly with pain. I don’t know why men choose to be gynecologists. oh, he also told me that I don’t have PCOS even though I’ve had it for years… retire pls

We have been with Dr Rosengarten for all 4 of our babies…. We lost the 1st at 19 weeks so we didn’t get to meet him. (Your first apt is at 20/21 weeks. But the staff at the hospital had great respect for him and his patients which was very clear when we delivered that baby. For our next 3 he was the best!! He has So Much experience and a great personality! Hence why he’s so sought after! We didn’t know that when We first were referred but I wouldn’t want anyone else now! If you’re nice to Liz she will be nice to you… They are super busy but they care greatly! He’s called me on A Sunday evening with my nipt results. I had horrible bout of pneumonia in my 3rd trimester and Liz was quick to page Mark and he was fast to respond and see me when my GP was prescribing something I should have while pregnant. I was SO sick and thank goodness for Dr Rosengarten! If he’s not worried then you Shouldn’t be either. If you have a sense of humour, value experience and knowledge, and want a OB that has a great personality and cares, you will not be disappointed. But if you can’t trust the process and remember that he’s an excellent OBGYN, and want an hour long appointment, then a midwife might be better suited. I’d do either Rosengarten a million times over!

Behind the smiles is an egotistical man. Deep down he has pent up anger issues that will display if his ego/pride is hurt. I wish I had not listened to all the positive things about this man and went for another doctor.

Dr. Rosengarten was not patient or caring during my appointment, dismissed my concerns, and left me with no resolution.

Dr Rosengarten is literally an angel on earth. I used to work with a renowned Trauma/Plastic Surgeon in Southern Calufornia, and my own PC was Chief of Staff at best hospital. Dr Rosengarten's care, thoroughness, bedside manner, surgical skill, and knowlege of women's health is the epitome of medicine. I wish every Doctor or surgeon exuded that much exquisite care and knowlege. His assistant, Liz, is also absolutely incredible - works miracles/moves mountains daily and is a ray of sunshine. If you have the ability or good fortune to be in their care, you have Heaven on earth. - Alicia S.
