My husband came to see Dr. Frankl for a flu shot, and she detected something on physical exam that save his life. No other doctor had noticed this, and he had seen a few the month prior. She followed up often with phone calls and arranged for all specialists and tests in lightening speed so that he could receive the best care. We are so thankful.
She is awful! She rushes through every appointment, prescribes unnecessary medication, and runs excessive tests to charge your insurance. I can't count the number of times she has prescribed me a Z-PACK when I didn't need it. On top of it all, she makes you feel stupid for the questions that you do have time to ask. She was so rude to me the last time, that I skipped telling her all my problems that I went in for. Never going back to her.
I have seen Dr. Frankl several times over the last year to sort out my complex medical problems that other doctors were unable to get to the bottom of. She is a great diagnostician. She listened to what I had to say and spent lots of time reviewing my symptoms and past records. She gave me a more thorough exam than I ever had. She got me back on track and did it with a smile on her face. I can't recommend her more highly. Her staff was kind and they are very organized in the office
great doctor. patient, not rushed, smart, caring, good office, on time. who could ask for more. Why pay for a concierge doctor when you can see Dr. Frankl. She gave me her cell phone number when she wasn't on call in case I needed her when I was sick one weekend. I hear she often does that.
I was referred to Dr. Frankl by a close friend and coworker. Many of my coworkers have been seeing Dr. Frankl for years. I have a complicated history and she spent lots of time with me and never made me feel rushed. She was very, very thorough and personable. Her office ran efficiently and she called me the next day to discuss my lab results. I couldn't have asked for better.
I love Dr. Frankl. She's very sweet and caring. She always has a smile on her face and has great bedside manners. She has helped me tremendously. I highly recommend her. She does try to sell you vitamins, but you know what? Those are such high quality compared to the crap at a drug store or GNC. Vitamins are really important so it doesn't bother me that she wants me taking them. I agree with her! Plus I've never waited more than 5 minutes in her office. This is a huge pet peeve of mine so I'm happy to say Dr. Frankl is great with time management.
Unfortunately I chose Sally Frankl from the web without doing my homework. We needed physicals and some paperwork filled out and were on a deadline to get lab results, which I clearly indicated when I made the appt and asked if they could do &they said yes. When I was 2 days away from the appt,I called to confirm they could do the paperwork, and they said "yes, but we will charge you $100". They didn't tell us that originally. When we walked in, the first thing she did was try to sell me pills, she spent less than 5 minutes with me, they didn't order all the tests on the forms, etc. One week later, we are still getting tests done,my hubby and I have had blood taken 6 times because they keep messing up,and I had to ask for my lab results in order to even get the doctor to talk to us. Even then they haven't given us the lab results. We have taken 3 days off of work now to deal with something that should have been done in 2 hours. Now we have to go find another doctor and start over.
I essentially fired Sally Frankl when I called and asked her what I should do about my severe intestinal problem (I was to take a trip to Europe via airplane). Her response was "you might have to wear diapers." Never went to her office again.
A seemingly nice lady & always on time but I have had SEVERAL issues with her such as no return phone calls for very important things like pain medication (the only time I've ever asked for it). She took 2 days to return my emergency call when I was very sick. She kept prescribing me really expensive meds knowing I had less than no money. She built me up to 70mg of Adderall/day & then abruptly took me off it when I ran out. Said I was taking too much. (She ordered it) She cost me several 40 minute trips to her office by incorrectly filling out prescription forms. (2 colors of ink, wrong dosage etc.) She wouldn't even LOOK at my swollen foot when I thought I might have been bit by a spider & diagnosed it from across the room & she made it clear she was afraid of spiders. She had me do TWO physicals a few months apart full well knowing I was ridiculously poor & I'm healthy w/no reason for 2. Esp when these are the only 2 she ordered in 3+ yrs! There's more but I'm OUT OF SPACE
she has been my doctor for over 10 yrs and i am going for my 3rd bout with breast cancer - she is amazing - if you disagree, fine - but that is not my experience -lab results sent right over to the surgeon and pre-op physical this morning - surgery tomorrow morning - anxious but not scared - been there, done that - but sure messed up my holiday -sally frankl will be my primary care physician forever!!!
