I have been suffering with back and neck pain for over 20 years.....have seen several surgeons over the years.....I have to say after meeting with Dr Argires yesterday very impressed. Such a compassionate man u can see it in his eyes and his heart. Without a doubt made me feel like I was in great hands......my wife is a local physician and has heard nothing but great results with him from her patients so I'll be scheduling surgery with this fine gentleman!

I found the Doctor to be very caring and knowledgable. And the reason I can sperak on this is because I've been there and done this before and it was not done properly. And the mistakes that were made were brought to the fore by Dr. Argires was exactly right. He addressed my pain and was very comforting that it will be taken care of by he, himself. And I appreciate that he will take care of my pain. He went over the pictures 29th me and no one ever did that. Thank you Dr. Argires and staff.

My review is for Dr. Perry Argires. Excellent, caring, humble, knowledgable, and honest doctor who is there for his patients. Very easy to talk to and very easy to understand. He is very interested in the patients' health and will go the extra mile to make sure your happy. I had been seen for a herniated disc and he explained all possible treatments and helped me decide which was the best for me. It's amazing how personable he is and how he treated me like an individual and not just another patient. I had screwed up the morning before surgery and ate breakfast (I did not read the instructions on the pre-operation paperwork correctly). He could have easily cancelled my appointment (since I did mess up his schedule for the day). He took my mistake with a grain of salt and was polite and courteous, and had a solution to the issue which had made it easy for me. It was my first surgery (I had a laminectomy) and Dr. Argires explained step by step before the surgery what he was going to be doing and made sure he did not leave until I felt very comfortable. When the surgery was finished, my family said he was extremely courteous in informing them what he did and how I was. I recommend Dr. P. Argires and his staff to anyone who needs this type of Doctor. He talks to people with respect and his demeanor is calm and pleasant. He has a lot of experience. The staff is very helpful with the initial visit as paperwork is minimal and wait times are also minimal. I feel like I am in very good hands with this group!

Just over 6 months ago, I went into the ER when my brain was not functioning properly. A very large brain tumor was found by a CT scan in the ER. I was transferred to Lancaster General Hospital, where Dr. Perry Argires was my surgeon. At this time, I had no idea what I was going through and had surgery scheduled 2 days later. I have to say that the surgery (tumor was close to my optic nerve) went extremely well. So far, there is absolutely no tumor left and I am recovering so well that I am back to work and continuing graduate school. I am so thankful for having a surgeon that was exposed to more than expected with my surgery and everything has gone well so far!

I had pain in lower back and down left buttocks and rear and front of leg. Tried three epidurals second worked like a charm for thirty days then no relief. I have eight discs that are all but nonexistent, and one herniated. First surgeon I spoke with wanted to operate immediately, I wanted second opinion. Dr. Argires came recommended by my niece, an ER nurse at Lancaster General. The first DR. asked where my first surgery was at, that was thirty years ago, I have no idea. DR. Argires told me where it was and showed me on the MRI also. Dr. Argires was very straight forward and very thorough with his explanation. In language I understood.

My husband has had several surgeries performed by Dr Argires. The most recent was to fix a botched fusion. Dr Argires worked with pain management to control post surgical pain. The fusion worked and eliminated all previous pain and also allowed him to stand up straight. We are very pleased.

I think that doctor perry argires is one of the best doctors that I've had the pleasure of meeting he is very good at what he doe's he operated on me on november 24, I had a alot of pain in my lower back going down my left leg, sometimes the pain was so bad I did not think that anything would work to ease the pain and I was also very worried about getting surgery on my back because alot of my friends told me that my back would never be the same but I had to do something the pain was unbearable so I went through with it and thanks to doctor perry argires the that I once had in my back and leg is slowly going away thanks to this doctor I'm feeling better with every day that goes by, once again thank you doctor argies and meery christmas and a happy new years your patient antonio illiano.

Over 13 years of treatment with other doctors, chiropractic adjustments, epidurals etc... On morphine & oxycontin pills with no pain relief. There was no other doctor who was willing to do anything. Then I met with Dr. Argires and he felt that he could get me back to about 80% normal. He recommended a fusion of the joint since there was to much damage to the joint to have a disk replacement. His hospital staff at Lancaster regional hospital were all great. Surgery went well and went home in 2 days. I did everything that he said I needed to do as part of post op recuperation walks, used my back brace, and did the physical therapy that was the worst part ( the stretching really kills me). I am now better that the promised 80% and am using aspirin and Tylenol for what pain I have left. This is fantastic!!!!!!!! Thank you Dr. Argires. Its been almost a year since surgery, & I cant believe I have my Life back!!!!!

Perry Argires is not in it for the patient, it seems he's in it for the money. The staff is very rude. My fiancee has had 2 lumbar fusions by Arigires and will probably have to have another. We are waiting til the 90 days are up so we can go to another doctor. We always feel as though we're talking to an autioneer with him. it's in and out and on your way you go. He is in constant pain and they still tell him that he's 95% good and good to go. After this last surgery one of the nurses decided to take the surgical tapes off of his incision and opened up his incision. DUH, they are to come off on their own. Now he has problems with that along with his back. ON his follow up appointment after his surgery, (with the doctor) we didn't even see Arigires, we saw someone that we have never seen before. Obviously they messed up somewhere because he was taling about injections that my fiance was to give to himself when he got out of the hospital but they never said anything about it.
