Exceptional care and compassion from the physicians, nurses and staff. Started in emergency and needed to have surgery. Was very impressed with the hospital.

The hospital staff are not well trained or professional. I had a surgery at the hospital and was bleeding in dangerous amounts after waking up from the anesthesia and the nursing staff did nothing to help and instead sent me home while bleeding; they couldn't care less!I also almost died from an airway obstruction in the ER a few years back, waiting and coughing non stop for 6 hours to be seen by a physician. The hospital in general is very disorganized and a lot of the jobs are done by child volunteers who do not have any knowledge of what they are doing.

Blood was left on the counter when I was taken into one of the rooms in the emergency room. I watched, I do not think they sanitize between patients.

Terrible managed hospital. Been waiting here for 3 days to have my dead baby removed from me. The nurses have been great, but i've been sitting in a room not allowed to eat since I arrived, I'm actually becoming ill from being here. The waste of resources is disgusting, how dare the hospital system ever ask for additional funding. What is needed here is a change in managment and the current processes to build efficines. If this was a business it would be a clear failure. Basically come here if you want to die. I know un

Our son recently broke his collar bone. We visited Mackenzie Health's Urgent Care Clinic and then the hospital for a follow-up appointment. The service at both sites was friendly and efficient. Our son is healing nicely and my wife and I are grateful for the excellent care provided to our family at our local hospital.

For a relatively new hospital it is very dirty. This is one of the most inefficient establishments I have ever seen, huge staff, slow service - this is an awful place

If you want to live and want to have less worries about your health AVOID mackenzie health. Horrible hospital. Privacy issues, they are simply "code of silence" and will put your life in danger. My health was ruined at mackenzie health with incompetent doctors. Their staff are absolutely rude no manners. Thank god my entire family and friends avoid this hospital. their patient relations are corrupted. They don't help you. This hospital needs to be closed down completely or change the entire administration. If you care for your life take the time and go elsewhere do not go to mackenzie health . Please

I just had an endoscopy and an colonoscopy done at Mackenzie Health. The nurses did their job just right, the anaesthesiologist was professional as was Dr Derek Yu, the gastroenterology who performed both procedures. I have no real complaints about the place, yes, the bathroom needed a bit of a dusting, it wasn't fanciest medical facility I was ever in, but the people did their job spot on. Come to Romania and see what a dirty, unprofessional hospital looks like before whining about this one. I bet you'll change your minds when you have to share a bed with another patients, the roaches run under your bed, you have to bribe your doctor or else he won't give you the time of day. I have no complaints. Value 5 stars, why do I say that ? In Europe this procedures would have cost me, with anaesthesia at least 1,500 - 2000 dollars out of my own pockets. So I thank OHIP for that.
