I wasted 4 hrs there tonight. I have been there before for back pain. All they ever want to do is pump me full of meds and send me on my way. TONIGHT I wanted an xray since I have been dealing with sciatica for over 1 year i want answers why its not healing. Fearing a bad hip. I waited 1 and half hrs in xray not a person entered or left the examing rooms but the waiting room filled up. I cannot sit with this back condition. no bed to lay on as I waited. I understand its busy. But the pain was unbearable after an hour so I left back to triage and asked for pain relief. I got sent to examining area this time was seen promptly by doc who knew me and gave me nerve blocking injections months before. Followed by a nurse with a needle for pain. I refused needle. I wasnt looking for an injection. She snubbed her nose and pointed to door slapped a pink slip on table and told me to go to xray.... REALLY after spending over an hour there NOT. So I went home. I got angry at the service and decided thats not acceptable. The idiot I am went BACK. Triage took me straight into examine area again said xray waiting for you. I refused xrays from the useless staff they employ. They sent me home this time without pain relief. All I wanted was Anti Inflammitory NOT OXY or percs that they gave to me other times when I didnt even want them. Hiding pain doesnt help reducing swelling is all i wanted . This hospital should be closed.

My 93 year old aunt was taken here after she fell. We found the staff experienced, helpful and caring. They assisted us with more than medical issues and we are very grateful

I can not believe they still have a cafeteria! Went there today and no joke there was roaches crawling on the pizza. When I asked the lady if she was aware she told me that it's because they just sprayed so they have surfaced. WTF?!?!?!

I went to this hospital while having an asthma attack the nurse checked me oxygen level was low and said "you will definitely need a mask"(as usually do). After waiting a couple hours the doctor finally came to see me ... My chest was hurting so bad I was nearly in tears it hurt with every breath because it was so tight. I was wheezing and could barely speak ... The doctor came in and asked the most obvious question "did you take your puffers" and the obvious answers were yes . Then he proceeded to tell me that they no longer give masks (which was a lie ) and that there is nothing he will do for me except write me another prescription for the inhalers I already had and send me out. I had no choice but to leave and and struggle with my breathing until I literally passed out.

I have worked in this hospital and would never want my beloved one to come to this hospital. Managers for each department are chosen based on networking rather than qualities and this affects the whole system. In one point we spotted a mouse in one of the operating rooms. They care about saving the money for new hospital and not spending on quality care. Toxic toxic toxic

Unprofessional, nurse didn't brother cleaning hands often. Saw one grab garbage bin and then attach the IV. Gross. Rude. Asked to know where the doctor was, was told that waiting happens. Didn't seem to care

This is probably the worst hospital that I have ever been to!! I don't think that I have ever experienced anything worse in my life. Rude staff. 1 doctor for the entire ER department... if you have an emergency, this is the LAST place that you should ever go!!!!!

A specialist and my family doctor both suggested that I get genetic testing done. When we got to the hospital there was no parking spots available so we had to park very far and walk over, which isn't very practical considering it's a hospital and majority of the people visiting are patients. Besides that, the doctors we met seemed like they had some sort of point to prove and weren't so helpful untill we started asking several questions. The doctor seemed to be in some sort of rush and denied the need for the testing, a test that was suggested by a specialist and a family doctor (the only reason we were there, and yes a refferal was sent with all the information already outlined) so what we don't understand is why book a patient, have them come down and verbally say the same thing written on the referral and tell them no, when they could've just denied the referral and saved our time, effort and gas. And yes that doctor got paid through Ohip (our tax money) for doing nothing. Won't recommend going here, that appointment was a waste of a day.

had cracked right kneecap surgically repaired which was hurting me. i went to emer and told them and even grabbed my knee and asked if this was my problem, they told me a stent operation was a piece of cake and no xrays or blood test done on implant which went septic right leg amputated. the surgeon likes to amputate,he likes to cut high making rehab more difficult. avoid this hospital useless doctors use er to sell surgeries. stay away if you like your legs
