One of the worst hospitals I have encountered. My experience ranges from stopping a nurse who was about to give me an IV without emptying the air in the syringe (!) to a doctor prescribing a medication I am allergic to - as shown in my records in front of her (!)

The worst hospital, terrible service, not enough doctors, long wait time- and often enough they would do the wrong things it is NOT a teaching hospital so their standards are quite low.

Excellent care for my aunt in surgery and cancer program. Both her main nurses were caring and attentive.

So much to say but essentially it is the worst hospital. Avoid and beware if possible.

Recently I had an operation in this hospital. they took off a cyst of 18cm out my body. After two hours they send me home. They said because of budget saving. How ever my doctor was notified that the nurse Will come to visit you In two days, the nursery of this hospital changes the story and said we Will never go to the address. You have to come visit us . The next day they make me go 25km far to the nursery station in the _21chill.now

I could write an essay on the things wrong with Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital, as well as how they could easily be fixed. Perhaps i will write a letter to them, in hopes it helps.
But for now, all i will say is that no hospital should ever make you feel like you're in prison. They can lock you up for 72 hours and leave you there under the guise that you NEED to be there 72 hours, but the truth is the doctors are lazy.
avoid at all costs, altho it IS clean, i give it a 0 because it's clean enough to see your own reflection, but you won't like what you see when they're done with you.

Came into the ER with nausea, vomiting and alot of pain. They were so incompetent that after being in the ER for 3 days, YES 3 DAYS, they finally admitted me into the ICU. That ICU was a further nightmare with so much noise I couldnt sleep for the next 7 days. They wouldnt sedate me either. Nurses were dropping my IV on the drop and then reattach it into my arm.
After I got out of the ICU I drove to North York General in agony and checked myself in.
GO SOMEWHERE ELSE ITS WORTH THE EXTRA TIME FOR YOUR HEALTH.

if you need help with mental illness, do not come here. The manager there does not care and was yelling at me a number of times instead of helping me. Yes i have anxiety so I was nervous and asking lots of questions. this blonde short haired lady whom is the manager told me " i have anxiety, my mother has it and look at me, i got through it. You act this way and you do not deserve to go out on pass.. i was very scared then and just wanted to leave. finally i got out and will never go there again.

The worst hospital in the face of the earth !!!
I was there on many occasions for surgeries and the nurses are just miserable . No professionalism whatsoever ! Be aware that this hospital is terrible , check your records or always ask for a copy of your records before you leave ! I was there for different issue and they wrote I was here because I had surgery ! The doctors are just careless I think in general the leadership of this hospital is doing a terrible job with the hospital .
I pray for safety of every patient that walks in this hospital . Mind you when I went back to say I never had surgery I was here for a different reason and they said they will not have the doctor correct the record !!! Yes I will never walk again in this hospital nor let my friends and family ever go there !!!

Most curteous, professional and organized. Starting from the paramedics who took me to the right place as they had a choice at the time. Early diagnoses from paramedics indicate pneumonia which hospital confirmed to be a bad case. It's my fourth day and can't stress enough how every staff member is courteous, professional and organized even if a patient may not be so cooperative. Let's not forget the Great Doctor's here who I've seen four so far who not only experts in their field of medicine also have great bedside manor. This total experience will make all feel the vibe of a positive healing instution. I told a nurse I felt like I was in a hotel.
