I don't know where to start. So I will simply say that this hospital is filthy, disorganized, is a jumble of uncaring, ignorant people. With a few exceptions, staff is not knowledgeable. They keeping making a difference between the full timers and non. That means that if you get to go to the hospital and non-full timers are there, you are actually entrusting your life in the hands of people who barely have a clue of protocol, barely care about you as a patient and barely know anything. In the, the hospital will try things and train new staff on you. So happy bless you want them to wing it with you or your loved one, stay away from this hospital. Your life is at stake.

The bathrooms were beyond disgusting!!! There was a thick film of scum over every square inch of the bathroom sink. Everything was filthy! It's been a few days since I visited the hospital and I'm still reeling from the experience. The patient I visited was not bathed and the sheets were filthy. Where is the cleaning staff. It's shameful, I'm going to write my mp about it.

I was at the emergency and had to use the restroom. When I opened the door I realized that the condition in which the hospital keeps it is worse than a latrine.
I am disgusted at what I saw. With all the money that this hospital receives from our taxes, I have to conclude that the dirty condition of its premises are in part the result of lazy employees but also poor management. Mackenzie, you are dirty, filthy, and I loathe you.

That place is a concentration camp where patients are treated as guinea pigs while doctors and nurses laugh as they see people suffer. It's truly rare to see a healthcare professional show empathy towards patients. They resemble workers at a factory and patients to them are parts in an assembling line. When mistakes are made due to related negligence and malpractice, they simply discard the patients and cover up their tracks so that no one will find out what happened. Mackenzie Hospital, you have your days counted. Just wait and see what is coming down to you and you hose who support your evil attitude.

Incompetent and lazy nurses and doctors. Should be shut down. Thinking of calling for an investigation. Sad the nurses are so busy chatting when I had a request they looked angry. Doctor argued with me. So sad. Epic failure

Disgusting hospital, rude nurses and staff. I feel that this hospital is run by organized crime. Doctors seem to be part of white-gowned mob. Once you're there, you must obey or they will find a way to make you pay even with your own life.
Unfortunately I had to deal with a nurse by the name of Mira who was disrespectful, uncaring, rude. FIRE HER and send her to a third world country hospital.
I hope CBC investigates this hospital soon.

Dr Redstone, currently a doctor in the ICU department, is an awful physician. She encouraged us not to have my dad resuscitated. She told us he would die one night and a few hours later, that he was a perfect candidate for rehab. She authorized my father's transfer out of ICU in the middle of the night hoping we wouldn't be there and would oppose the move. When we confronted her she ended up saying that 'she simply needed a bed for someone else and she chose to give up hope after she said he would die so we wouldn't oppose the transfer out of ICU'. She's a liar, unethical, unprofessional, lacks integrity. I hope an thorough investigation of her practices be done. If your loved one is transferred to ICU, I would recommend you get him/her out of there and moved to another hospital. My recent conversations with several managers there ended up in simply hearing, 'we are sorry for what happened; it will serve as a learning experience'. A hospital that has been around for years, is made up of doctors who consider themselves experienced, that says that is an indication that we, patients, are they guinea pigs. We as patients mean nothing. It's just a lab where they try procedures and treatments. My advice, if you are still alive, get out of that hospital. Tell the world about the negligence and malpractice that occurs there. That hospital doesn't deserve to stay open. It is a third-world facility with a bunch of careless employees who wouldn't even be allowed to work at Sunnybrook or Mount Sinai.

I was there last week. I have witnessed patients treated as beasts, careless doctors, horrible nurses (Mira is the epitome of 'I'm in Power and I rule here at the Emergency). There was a poor old man who I heard suffered from a massive brain injury who was left on the emergency bed for over 10 hours before a CT scan was done on him. I heard he eventually died there. I hope his relatives make their sad story public. I'd be happy to be a witness to what I see if they need me. This hospital is beyond recovery. I have seen nurses, doctors, walk around with an attitude, with a sense of authority. To me I, as a patient, meant less than a garbage bag. Shame on all those who work there. Shame on the board of directors. Shame on the authorities who are fully aware of what's going on in there. Shame shame shame shame for allowing what resembles a concentration camp to continue to torture and execute innocent victims with their white gowns. You will eventually have to respond of your crimes before God.

I am ashamed to have this hospital in Vaughan. That is not a hospital. They killed my father. Mira with her purple streaked hair is the rudest nurse at the Emergency.
My father was attended at the Emergency after 12 hours after a head injury which resulted in his death.

I request the RCMP to investigate this hospital, its staff one by one, each patient's file (they will only release certain ones to the public), and the broad practice of blame shifting and covering each other up. If you have had a bad experience or feel that your case or your loved one's case was mishandled, do not keep it for yourself. Speak up, get the law involved. Canada's reputation is at stake if this hospital continues to mistreat patients.
