On the orthopedic floor every nurse who dealt with us on this extended (9 day) stay was extremely competent, friendly, attentive and empathetic. They made what could only be a trying time much more tolerable. Thanks for this extreme professionalism and care.

Worst hospital I have ever seen. They do not care about their patients. Stay away if at all possible

Most Dangerous Hospital :They discriminate with people with disabilities denying them medical care for there medical conditions! Don't bother filing a complaint with the director there they are just as bad as the doctors there !
We as American needs better protection in our healthcare services. If a disable person is denied medical treatment that doctor needs to lose there license and sentence to jail for the rest of there life. That would surely wake up the medical field!

Excellent care....hospital was full. I had to go through ER to be admitted. It was a 13 hr wait to be necessarily admitted. After that initial experience, everything was uphill. I had great care, and an excellent neuro surgeon...Dr Lusk.

Went to er for back pain. Took ct, found kidney stone. Recommended a Urologist. Came back to hospital 8 weeks later to have stone removed. All hospital staff was efficient and well trained. After hearing some bad reports, I found the care better than I expected.

NCH is clearly the best hospital in Naples for any heart condition. They picked up my clogged arteries and put in stents over ten years ago. They are still working perfectly according to a recent angiogram. The clogged arteries had been given a clean bill of health only two months prior at Mass General in Boston. Most of the complaints about NCH relate to wait time in the ER and the majority of those are in high season when patients flood the ER.
As a ten year volunteer in the ER I can assure you the Dr.s and the staff provide excellent care.

Went to the ER, based on advice of my out of town doctor, for unusual heavy bleeding. Arrived around 1:30am and provided medication history, and appropriate samples for testing. Was not spoken to again untill 6:30am. Then I was taken to a bed in a hallway and left for another 90min. The waiting room was filled with sick people all of whom received the same treatment. The doctor who came on with the morning shift was left with the entire waiting room full of patients who had been waiting there since at least 1am. There were 7 sick babies left in the waiting room all night along with 8 or 9 senior citizens, and several injured people. The restroom trash had several bloody paper towles hanging out of it. The doctor was too busy to listen to my symptoms, the input from my dr's and my medical history. He said he was only going to perform 1 test and send me on my own to find a specalist to deal with my problem. My dr. Advised me to leave this hospital and return home for care.
