Twice now thru ER I was assigned a Hospitalist who did not know me or my history. Poor care and communication. The last one I never saw. She only communicated thru an RN named Mary. I was very upset about this as I needed to talk to the hospitalist who I understand is a doctor. I could not wait to get out of there. Telling my regular doctor about this he made some noise. Thank God. All patients need to be treated with dignity and respect. Getting my daily meds, nurse had them all in her dirty hand. I refused to take them and asked her to give me my meds in a sealed package. She did not like this. Too Bad. I did not want a hospital induced infection. There were tubes all on the floor that people could trip on. I asked they be placed so no one would trip on them. Methodist never was like this before. It has changed in the past few years. I pray I never have to return. Big problerm is that nurses work a 12 hour shift. They are tired so the patient suffers. What is wrong with 8 hour shifts? Happy patients and wide awake nurses.

They use very poor judgement when out sourcing patients to free up bed space. They look as though they never inspected the out sourced facilities and thus have to be held responsible for any further additional patient illnesses due to their lack of careful inspection. The room smelled of urine and the bathroom was dirty with fecses [Example Rm121]. The only other reason that this facility might have been chosen might be be due to corrupt associates that coordinated with these type facilities and their associates. i.e. cozziness of administrators Want to check for yourself? Go to the Gardens of Bellaire, 4620 Bellaire Blvd, Bellaire, TX. and see for yourself. Check every room too. A good hospital does not do this!!!!!
