My son's girlfriend was in horrible pain over the weekend. She has had several UTIs recently but she said it didn't feel the same. They went to the ER at St. Luke's. They were treated horribly. They said they were going to run some tests but the only thing they did was ram something up her nose to test for flu. They told her she had another UTI and gave her medicine that she told them does not work on her.She has spinal bifida and has been taking antibiotics all of her life. My son asked if they could at least give her something for the pain. The nurse(Kathy) told them that they weren't in the business of handing out drugs & if that was why they were there they could go somewhere else. They were told to leave. The kids weren't. even told results of flu test. The kids went back to Omaha. Her doctor says she has an ovarian cyst and put her into the hospital today. So much for St. Luke's.
