My husband recently had surgery at Piedmont in Atlanta and we had the best customer service from the entire staff. I was very pleased with all the staff of Piedmont on Peachtree Rd. I can not stop telling people about how wonderful this hospital and it's staff was in our time of need

Piedmont was a fine hospital except for the brutality and incompetence of Dr. Julia Yuraei. I informed management to please make my letters available under the freedom of information act so all may know the horror of this doctor. Shame on Piedmont for subjecting patients to her.

Came here to have a baby. This is my third and by fat the worst hospital we have ever been to. Avoid it at all costs. It's dirty. The equipment is old and not as reliable or comfortable as the new stuff. The doctors were rude and the food was the same tiny menu every day. The only saving grace was the nice nurses but I would still never come back.

Piedmont has been our go- to hospital for many years. Many good doctors and so -so front office service. However, the ER is the WORST! I fell and was transported to the Piedmont ER at 1 am. I was dropped off, put into a regular waiting room chair with just a blanket and waited until 7 am to be seen by-- anybody! I asked several times for water but was told I could not have any. No one took my history or asked if I needed anything - for six hours. I hopped to the vending machine while they watched and purchased a bottled water. At 7 am (shift change), I was finally moved into an exam room and an X-Ray was taken. No fracture, just a sprain and a bruise from my hip down the back of leg to my calf that was black from blood. The pain in my knee was terrible. Money was promptly collected for their service(!) and I was discharged. I managed to get in to an orthopedist the next day. My knee was fractured and the kneecap damaged, along with a torn meniscus. This is the third and final time I have gone to Piedmont ER. The first time I took my mother there after she faints at the dentist. We arrived at 3 pm. They didn't even take her vitals until 6 pm. She was finally taken to an exam room at 7 pm and we waited until 10:30pm to see a doctor and then begin tests. She was 80 at the time and completely exhausted. We finally got into a room upstairs on the cardiac ward at 1 AM!! Unless you're bleeding to death or have been shot, do not go to this ER.

Excellent courtesy throughout my surgery and stay. Knowledgeable and attentive operating room staff. I've had surgery at two other facilities and this was my second at Piedmont. If I must have any additional it will be at Piedmont!

Beware of this place. We experienced what we considered to be under-trained staff who were trying to function outside of their ability. I would definitely recommend a second opinion outside this network for anything
