I can't even given one star to this place.worst in Canada.after waiting for 6 hours was called back in triage to leave and come back next morning at 7 by appointment and next day when went there, no appointment found that it was a walkin clinic. It states not to use some words for this place in comments but they deserve that and should be closed down.
Avoid this hospital, unless your emergency does not allow you time to get to the next closest hospital. Both hospital staff & ambulance emt's have told me too many horror stories about this place, and that is on top of several personal experiences that were pretty outrageous. I feel bad for the few good doctors that are still there. Their reputations get pulled down by association.
This hospital is to be avoided. The competence of the physicians (with the odd exception) is spurious to say the least, and what is worse is that nobody there seems to care. The bottom of the heap in a region which deserves better. They have taken the "care" away from the term "patient care". They don't even want to care.
July 2017 - Went into emergency - shocked at how dirty, chairs all torn up and crazy waiting time 6 hours to finally see a doctor, who did a diagnose and then sent in the nurse to follow up and were given conflicting diagnoses. Utterly not organized at all, and then a week later for follow up, given another diagnosis so fast that we came home and didn't know what to do as all info not clear. All the money given to Lakeshore to make it a better hospital as gone nowhere. Am looking into a private physician to get a second diagnosis. What a way to treat people in pain in emergency.
