I hate this hospital with a passion. Mis-diagnosed my dads cancer as a clean bill of health. He died 17 weeks later. Thanks

The sicker you are the less they want to help you. I was a hallway patient for 1 entire day as was waiting on 3 rd catscan for possible broken neck. Serious concussion. No water no meds no help from any of the nurses or floor doctor. The er doctor had no bedside manor. Nurses stood around complaing of their husbands and family. Want to live then don’t ever go to B. G. H

Been here 3 hours after my 17 year old had a moderately long seizure. He doesn't have a seizure disorder. I don't have a car or I'd have gone to Trenton. This place is a sh*thole and everyone's sitting around chatting.

I believe the staff and doctors try hard to treat their patients. The facility is average.

I worked at Quinte Health Care Belleville site for over 13 years and for 6 months I was tasked with assisting with patient concerns or patient complaints. I was appalled at the volume of calls of complaints, and especially the way I was told to deal with these calls. When I contacted the appropriate managers etc with the patient complaints, it was very apparent that the hospital's only response, and therefor mine was to basically say that we appreciate all concerns brought to our attention, as we need feedback in order to do a better job. Having to say that to someone with a serious complaint made me feel terrible. Most people had serious legitimate complaints that needed to be addressed. The hospital would never admit to any wrong doing, rarely apologize and certainly at all times disregard, in the face of clear evidence any dereliction of duty. What a joke. I spent too many years going to meetings listening to the mob of female directors and managers giggling about their expensive shoes and outfits. All they did was give lip service to patients. Their only concern was and still is perpetuating the culture of snobbery and the promotion of nurses with no administrative experience into positions of management. Also keep in mind there are over 50 "Directors" and managers, all of whom make over $100,00.00 . No wonder the place is in such a financial mess. We need a full and totally complete financial report with expenses and salaries for every single department, available to the public on line and in the newspaper. We would be absolutely shocked at the waste. Hospitals need Accreditation in order to continue their funding etc. I was present at so many meetings prior to Accreditation where all the managers basically fudged all their data and "tweeked" the language of procedures in order to comply with flags brought to their attention by the accreditors' reports. So much time, money, meetings, motivational lunches, tee shirts (believe it or not) in order to get staff pumped prior to accreditation. Ordinary staff are never allow to speak to the accreditors because we might just point out some real problems. Perhaps everyone who has a bad experience at QHC should not bother calling the hospital, they should go right to the government arm of hospital accreditors. My heart goes out to anyone who has had a terrible experience at QHC. If seen it first hand, heard it, researched it and I know that your complaints go nowhere. The complaint stats go to the board, so the board never hears any real problem, all they know is that all (pardon me we can't say complaints) concerns, were dealt with and the box checked as complete. All is good in their world. Lets demand full and transparent financial accountability of every single cent they spend and why, where and how.

I have had a few experiences over the years with Belleville. I have had some good experiences in there, but my best time was Volunteering. I was down there Volunteering for 20 years. I sold Nevada Tickets, to raise money for equipment. I left 2015. I made a speach, I cried. They did a great deal for me. I am still Volunteering at Hastings Manor, where I reside. Thank-you.

NOT BEING A MEDICAL PERSON I TOOK THEIR WORD ON THAT... AND SHE PASSES AWAY 2 DAYS LATER OF DEHYDRATION. WHEN WE HAVE UNPROFESSIONAL DOCTOR OR NURSES IT IS VERY SCARY.
