I had open surgery for an Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm on March 1, 2016, Dr. Winkelaar was my surgeon. The surgery was just over 5 hours and it went very, very well. Dr. Winkelaar saved my life! I am eternally grateful to him. He told me all of the risks involved with this major surgery and it turned out great. The nurses in the ICU were top notch, I couldn't ask for better care. When I was taken out of ICU the nurses that took care of me were excellent, except for them taking blood around the clock----but it was their job. For such a scary operation I am so grateful to Dr. Winkelaar and staff, thank you very much! D. Morrison

My wife was admitted to ICU Jan21, 2017 for blood infection the Dr. was rude - she had 4 IV's two in each arm,and he would not move the table closer on request (he had just been leaning on it to talk to her"so she could have a drink of water. His comment was "get up and get it yourself".

Ended up in emergency late Nov 14, was having a miscarriage. Dr Anderson an the gals that helped me were AMAZING! They always made sure I was comfortable and doing well. The things they witness and have to deal with, thank god there are people out there willing to do it! Next pregnancy, if all goes well, I will be looking to deliver there. Thank you so so so much for the positive (well as positive as it could have been) experience! Grateful for awesome people like you guys!:)

I had to make a visit to ER - the DR who treated me - Dr Anderson was the most fantastic personable, down to earth, patient, kindest Dr I have ever met. Though hes extreemly overworked, he takes time to ensure every patient is comfortable wether they are awaitibg treatment or on the operstion table. If you must go to the ER at Grey Nuns you may have the plesant suprise of meeting this wonderful Doctor !

Had an appointment in the Endo unit. Very friendly, personable and caring staff with very competent care. Punctuality was a bit off, but everything taken into account, was very satisfied with the respect and care received!

I am from BC and i needed to see a doctor. I went to 'Grey Nuns Community Hospital' I was amazed with the immediate service i recieved throughout my entire visit, frok triage, to administration, to doctor and to nurse giving me medication. I was in and out of the hospital within one hour. Being from BC, i was expecting long hospital waits like i do back home. Typically, the wait is lenthy hours, and staff is often rude. As the doctor intoduced himself to me at grey Nuns, he shook my hand, showing a great deal or respect for his patients. Thank you to all the staff here for the amazing job you guys do!
