My husband spent a couple of weeks in hospital last year and I can't say enough good things about this facility. They admitted him quickly and he had the best of care. Almost all the nurses were very supportive and encouraging, and his doctor was outstanding. The hospital was so clean it practically sparkled, and one of the cleaning staff ducked in to see me while my husband was sleeping to tell me she was saying prayers for him, and for me, too. It was a very rough two weeks for us, but Grey Nuns and the staff did everything they could to make it better, and we're very grateful to them.

I was in the grey nuns on and off for 3 years on unit 41 with my husband who was very sick. My daughter and I became part off the grey Nuns family. Everyone there new us buy name right from the security to the resturant, to palitve care. This hospiatal is the most caring hospital I have ever been in they treated us with compation. They were going to let us get married there if NY husband could not make it home. When we got back from our wedding the nurses had moved him into his own room. Our hunnymoon suite as I called it. So that we could be together. After 3 very hard years my daughter and I still go back to say hi and they all still remeader us. Thanks unit 41 we will never for for get you. And thanks to grey the grey nun

Excellent service from Emergency nurses and Dr.s, who made me as comfortable as possible even though they were crazy busy. Support services and nursing staff during my recovery from an apendectomy were attentive and kind.

Grey Nuns facilities are ok, however the diabetes unit has a consistent "assembly line" system, particularly for pregnant women; here individual needs of patients are second to the organizational structure and guidelines set in place. No room for individual needs of patients as if all patients are the same despite their diverse range of ages, cultural backgrounds, diets and individual health issues.

I had open surgery for an Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm on March 1, 2016, Dr. Winkelaar was my surgeon. The surgery was just over 5 hours and it went very, very well. Dr. Winkelaar saved my life! I am eternally grateful to him. He told me all of the risks involved with this major surgery and it turned out great. The nurses in the ICU were top notch, I couldn't ask for better care. When I was taken out of ICU the nurses that took care of me were excellent, except for them taking blood around the clock----but it was their job. For such a scary operation I am so grateful to Dr. Winkelaar and staff, thank you very much! D. Morrison

My wife was admitted to ICU Jan21, 2017 for blood infection the Dr. was rude - she had 4 IV's two in each arm,and he would not move the table closer on request (he had just been leaning on it to talk to her"so she could have a drink of water. His comment was "get up and get it yourself".
