Love this hospital and staff. I actually took my husband to the ER and he ended up getting admitted. While there we had 2 physicians and they both came in the room together and made one diagnosis that made our lives so much better. They have great bedside manner, they're professional, honest, dedicated, and down-to-earth. I wouldn't to any other hospital.

very good nurses and support staff. I had a bad nausea reaction the following day after surgery and my nurse was EXCELLENT. Nurse Mary, as she was called, knew exactly what to do and took complete charge.

Several family members have been patients at Brookwood Medical Center at various times. The hospital and the rooms were always filthy. I have seen cleaner veterinary clinics. The hospital might as well not have a nursing staff because they rarely did a sufficient job. They never came when the call button was pushed, and no staff member would assist you if it was near shift change. The air conditioning/ventilation system smelled like mold and mildew. This caused all of our family to develop respiratory symptoms. It is unclear to what we were exposed. I have seen circus and zoo animals receive better treatment than the patients at Brookwood Medical Center.

I went to the ER last Sunday and was "mis"treated by a doctor Burke. He was rude, pouty, a bully, and like no doctor I have ever seen in my life. I was told all my blood work was normal. Ieft Brookwood and went to another doctor,I had walking pneumonia as well as the flu. I am doing everything I can to stop this so called doctor, and I use the term loosely, from treating anyone else so horribly.

Omg..don't get me wrong the work by the doctors are almost excellent but theres no compassion ..maybe they are burned out by what they have to do everyday..as friendly as pit bulls in a dog fight and that's just the er. The cost is high that a day stay could feed a family of 5 for 2 weeks! 2 out of 10 nurses know how to put in ivs without causing as much pain if not more pain than you came in for. A wait of 10 to 30 min. if you buzz the nurses station by the time they git to you they act like you are a nuisance if you could do it yourself you'd be at home not a HOSPITAL! !
