I have experienced their emergency department, CT Scan facility and day surgery clinic- full satisfaction always. Staff are extremely helpful, knowledgable and, as far as I can know, competent.

volunteer refused to speak to me in english saying she could not understand nor speak it (this was translated to me from a patient waiting). was also badly greeted from registration clerk at 1A 105 where it is writtened accueil...isnt that french for greetings? very funny..need to get it straight!

I delivered my first baby at Mont Fort! It was recommended to me because of the facilities and private rooms. If you want nice rooms..go to Mont Fort! If you want attentive and compassionate health care ...maybe not! They were inconsistent with many nurses and doctors being cold and dismissive.
They dismissed me saying to go home during 48 hours of extremely painful early labour. They wouldn't allow me to use the early labour lounge. They messed up my stitches twice after delivering my baby and had to restitch me twice (3 times total). I had complications a complications after delivering, that could have been prevented. I came back to emerge 7 days after delivering my baby and they again turned me away and sent me home. Even though I had an infection that was making me so sick with a high fever, rapid heart rate, fainting, and shortness of breath. I soon found out that the infection could cause infertility, or infection of the blood if left untreated. I then went to Ottawa civic, where everyone was so warm. They treated me with respect and dignity. They listened to my symptoms and treated them seriously. I would not go to Mont Fort again!!! They are cold and dismissive of patients. There is inconsistent care and so I apologize for the handful of great nurses and doctors I dealt with. The overall experience was so bad though that unfortunately it taints my view of the hospital. I wouldn't recommend it! My overall experience left me extremely ill, and feeling dehumanized!

My dad was diagnosed with colon cancer and had his surgery at Montfort hospital and I must say I was very pleased with the staff nurses and doctors ...they gave upmost great care with a nice positive attitude ! And there expertise professionalism work ! Very satisfied ... Thank you for being so kind !

Depuis 2012, moi et 2 autres membres de ma famille avons ete admis pour differente raisons et toujours les soins et les services que nous avons recu etaient de qualites superieurs. je recomande cette hopital . Oui, lorsque vous avez beaucoup d'employees, il y en aura toujours de moin experiencer, mais la grande majoriter des employer de l'hopital Montfort sont tres bien qalifier et on beaucoup de compassion pour les patients.

At 8:30 PM, July 2nd, I was leaving your visitor parking services. Earlier in the day, my mother and my uncle had visited my sick father in the hospital, leaving my sister and I at home to watch our animals. Upon leaving, she purchased a 24 hour parking pass to pay for her stay, and to allow me and my sister to drive to the Montfort and visit my dad while she watched the animals. My sister and I left the hospital at 8:30 with the 24 hour parking pass and inserted it into the machine. The machine refused the ticket with the message "pas entre". Frustrated, I hit the assistance button on the machine. This is where the experience became unacceptable. An individual, with the personality skills and intellectual ability of a root vegetable, begrudgingly answered the call and asked our issue. I explained the situation, exactly as I have explained it here, and he angrily responded that 24 hour passes don't allow re-entry after you leave. This is incorrect, as indicated by your website which explicitly states that you can leave and enter as much as needed. After pointing this out, he proceeded to argue with me saying that it wasn't his problem and that we'd have to pay another fee to get out. I then questioned his logic on how to go about doing that, but he had hung up on us. I called back, but he refused to answer. We found a crumpled up entry ticket in the car and paid the price on it just to leave. This was a horrendous experience; your parking service assistant was wrongly informed and his behaviour and tone was absolutely unacceptable.

Avoid. I have had three incidents at Montfort which my brother, a physcian tells me are reportable. One involved a surgeon sending a report to physio that he had replaced my left knee after doing a hip replacement. Perhaps such skill explains why I have enough pain to wake me when I sleep or can't walk more than 4 months after surgery.

After second knee replacement surgery at this hospital I have no hinges but great things to say an out he facility and nursing staff at the Montfort. Very positive feeling having any further surgery there.

Waited for hours in excruciating pain to be sent home with no prescription and no diagnosis. My throat was horribly swollen which was hurting my jaw and ear, the doctor took a quick look and told me to go see a dentist. I went to the dentist and nothing was wrong but they suggested a walk in clinic because I clearly had a horrible throat infection. Appletree on montreal road were great, after a quick look they knew it was an infection and sent me home with antibiotics. Montfort was dirty, the staff were yelling and telling jokes in the hallway all night and they just pushed me out the door without running any tests.

I was very satisfied with the services I received when I went to the sleep therapy clinic. One thing that is terrible though is the cost of the parking .... If there is space left !
