McMaster is the worst hospital in the world!!!!!' They do everything against the book. They accused my brother and his girlfriend of abusing their baby and said that they lite the babies head on fire!!!!!!! They have not taken care of the baby at all. She hasn't been bathed since she's been in there for about 6 days, her leg was caught in the bar and she cried for 2 and a half hours and no nurse came in. A guy with his baby there helped her. And they said its for the best interest of the kid when they are neglecting the baby there as well. They haven't even done all te rift tests before making accusations. I am 80% sure she has an allergy to either shampoo or detergent and I think that's why she's breaking out which they think is abuse. They haven't done allergy tests. And the baby jas developed rashes all over her leg and a bruise on her head while there!!! Yet there still telling the mom she will never see her kid again. I have never seen a young mom so responsible before. She loves that kid to death doesn't allow smoking or even fighting around her baby! McMaster can ruin your life even when they dot have any facts. We are getting a lawyer and after all this the doctoral staff will be sued for neglect of the baby and making pre mature accusations without appropriate tests!!!!!! I will never ever ever take my kid there!

Over the summer I had went through double jaw surgery. The staff that looked over me were absolutely amazing... They made me stay calm and were very nice and helpful. Even in the operating room before I was put to sleep I felt so calm and under good hands. The nurses were always happy to help me. Never had a rude nurse once. Overall I had a good experience there, but could be different for others.

This hospital is treading on a disaster waiting to happen! Whether its the non fucntional elevators that cause patients, including emergency staff and hospital personnel, waiting up to 20 minutes, but there are broken items everywhere and the staff and VERY overworked and understaffed... just waiting for the day they make the news... the food they serve is a joke and is not healthy by any standard.. they are constsantly out of supplies.. what a sham!

Tell me, how do you go into a hospital to have a baby, which should be one of the happiest days of your life, and be sent home with flesh eating disease. Ended up of life support. This hospital has gone down

What a shame this hospital was made I to a children's hospital!! It was not needed! There aren't enough paediatric patients to make this change necessary! They were taken care of just fine in regular hospitals. If needed, there was TO for special cases,
I had surgery for cancer here in 2007. What a wonderful teaching hospital! That is now gone and replaced by a needless children's hospital. What a waste. It was ahead of its time before and much needed by the General public.
Shame shame shame!!!

amazing amazing amazing!! I've been admitted after a spinal fusion, and can't say anything bad! Every single nurse I had was amazing and so caring. I was a teenager and never felt degraded or not cared about. Every time I go back for check up's I feel so welcomed, it feels like home in a way. My entire life I've been petrofied of hospitals, but the second I walked into McMaster I was instantly comfortable. Now that I'm 18, I no longer qualify as a pediatric patient, I don't want to change hospitals. I'm going to miss it so much!

Parking can be an issue when it is busy, so leave time to find parking.

My son has been going to this hospital (the 3f clinic for hematology and oncology) for the last year and a half. They are excellent. The doctors and nurses take their time with parents, answer questions and always provide test results as soon as their available, even over the phone. Their child life specialists com up with some very creative activities for children who are having trouble coping with disorders, having tests or surgery, and even offer the same to their siblings. There is also a social worker on the floor to assist with any other resources you may need. They are really and truly, phenomenal here.
