Went here when I had food poisoning while pregnant and the hospital staff were extremely attentive and service was fast. Right after I was assessed in triage, they had a nurse immediately take me in a wheelchair to the Maternity Ward and had me assessed by nurses who administer a urine sample and a check up on me and my baby. They had me on an IV for my dehydration within half an hour and gave me Tylenol and something else for my diarrhea. I was given 2 bags of IV; one with saline, the other with saline and Gravol for my nausea. The nurses and doctor were extremely kind and personable and I felt very taken care of here. Great work!

Not overly pleased the way I was treated at CGM, they even suggested I was there because they have air-conditioning, I also have AC in my apartment. I was there because I couldn't breathe not because I wanted to be there.

My son spilled boiling grease on his hand at work and went directly to Collingwood Hospital for treatment. Whoever looked at it asked him what he thought should be done about it, then put some lotion on it and sent him home with bandages and more lotion. They did not wrap it themselves. When he got home his hand and arm had what looked like black soot on them and his hand was terribly blistered. Knowing that infection could be serious, I took him to Owen Sound Hospital where they cleaned it up, applied antibiotic ointment, and wrapped it to prevent infection. Between them and our family doctor a burn clinic was arranged for him to attend every two days to have it checked and redressed. That was almost 3 weeks ago and he still has to have it checked every two days. Collingwood just sent him home - don't ever go there, I have heard other horror stories about them, it is worth the trip to Owen Sound.

My children and I have made several visits to CG&M over the years and it's definitely one of the fastest hospital experiences I've had. Sometimes people get busy. They're saving lives after all. Unless everyone in Collingwood can't spell the same words, my guess is that both of the previous negative reviews are written by the same person. Anyway, my son dislocated his arm. We had to wait a bit while they resuscitated another little boy who I'm hoping made it through. Nurses aren't waiters, or hostesses. They have work to do. If you're looking for rose petals thrown at your feet, I hope a hospital, any hospital, is the last place you find it. 5 minutes with the doctor and my son was good as new. They're efficient at CG&M. Thank you all!

this is the worst hospital i have ever been too no respect or compassion from the nurses they are very rude!!!! as for the doctors lets just say i had to drive to barrie to figure out whats going on with me!!!! something needs to be done with these nurses and their way of talking to people when you are sick the last thing you want is a nurse that is rude i mean you go to the er department and the nurses don't say hi how are you today instead its NEXT how can you be a nurse with that type of attitude???? if you don't like your job quit!!!!! as for children they need to have a doc that knows about kids i've had issues with the way they deal with children !!!!!
