I ended up in the South Calgary Campus for 2 weeks in September of 2016. I entered through emergency, was taken in immediately and had a private room (due to my illness) by the 4th day. I was attended to by 5 amazing Dr's with specialties in various fields. The HCA's, LPN's and RN's on my ward were all amazing. I cant say enough good things about this hospital and the way I was treated there by everyone, including the cleaning staff who were also amazing. They saved my life and I am forever grateful.

Had my knee surgery there in July, was so pleased with how nice the entire hospital was, the nurses, for the most part, were awesome, some of the aids were a bit more aggressive but not a huge deal.

A horrible experience in both the admitting waiting area and emergency room. Staff was rude and uncaring. One of them asked me to sanitize my hand before putting the admission information on my hand. The nurse in the emergency room asked me to turn my head and not to breath directly to her. The doctor there said that his role is to rule out any life-theatening symptoms and was not interested in finding out the cause of illness. The waiting area doesn't have comfortable chairs for patients who are terribly ill and need to rest while sitting there for four or more hours to be admitted to the emergency.

Absolutely worst emergency department in the city. Useless physicians is an understatement. Nursing staff are uncaring. Too bad, as I have heard the surgical staff are excellent.

I had my left knee replacement May 2015. Dr. Bateyung's team pre-operation were super. A 4 hour info session hade me prepare my home for a speedy recovery. I live alone in a 2story house!
My 4 patient room felt almost private and spacious. All staff were considerat and professional, checking on me even when I had not called. PT was excellent, preparing me well to go home. Even the food was pretty acceptable with decent selections.
I had a hip replacement 7 years prior at the old Grace Hospital. Horrible care, horrible staff and NEVER saw my surgeon while I was in that run down old pile.

i went to this hospital and i was DISGUSTED with the whole experience and the staff ,working in that type of feild or enviroment requires a certain type of professionalism. and if you cant meet those expectations of such then i would strongly and highly suggest that the choice of profession should be reconsidered, i was in the ER for a short stay and thw entire staff i had interacted with were extrememly rude, degrading and judgemental. I will NEVER return to this facility again.

We have been to this emergency room 4 times. Such a disaster every time! If you have to go here, still try to go somewhere else.

I was so impressed. I had day surgery and not only was the facility top end, so was the care l received from the time admitted, right through until discharged. What an amazing facility..... I never felt like I was in a hospital. My family felt the same way. So bright with all the windows. Those of you who may be hospital phobic, you have nothing to worry about.
