I am a chronic pain patient with a neurological pain issue rarely understood by medical professionals. My most recent visit there, I felt compassion, and true warmth from the doctors, nurses, and volunteers there. They were willing to go a very uncommon route in the chance it may help me. Ultimately it did not, but this was the best experience by far I have had at a hospital during my time as a pain patient. Now, I have had less than amazing experiences here before, but at the time when I most needed it to be ok, they exceeded my expectations.

Just perfect. We are so lucky to have this facility in Calgary.

We don't know how lucky we are to have first class services and medical care of this quality. Great Dr's, Nurses and Hospital Staff. Didn't want to be there but at that point there was nowhere else I would rather have been, Thank you.

My wife had a c-section and the pre-op doctors and nurses were great...the post partum section though was awful...nurses were rude and pushy with both me and my wife...I couldn't wait to get her out of that awful place..

The nurses and doctors I saw were terrific. However . . .

I give this hospital a bad rating because of their intake system. Yesterday, they knew my problem was neurological but they sat me for three hours in a waiting room filled with people who coughed, sneezed and vomited. I wasn't physically sick when I went in but today I'm coughing and sneezing, and I have a sore throat.

So, the slogan -- Visit Rockyview Emergency And Get Sick!

My mother is a senior with dementia. She was brought to this hospital with a brojen hip. The surgeon failed to subcribe pain medicstion following her surgery. I found him & his staff to be negligent in caring for her! They isolated her for several days and forgot she existed ! Their lack of knowledge and empathy for seniors with dementia is unconscionable

All the staff in the Urology and Day Surgery units were very knowledgeable, professional, and helpful when I had the minor surgery there. So keep up the good work!!

My Dad's early dementia interfered with his ability to engage with rehabilitation during his stay here - and the hospital staff discouraged family help. After being transferred out of his place, the staff at the rehab hospital asked for family help and now Dad is benefitting from therapy. Too bad he was delayed for seven months due to the egos of the Rockyview staff. When I was sent to the Rockyview for an ECG and cardio ultrasound, they completely lost my records. My doctor was unable to refer me to a specialist because the results were unavailable- until I went back to that department and sat in front of their desk insisting that the look for my test results. Then they found them. It cost me 3 months delay and an extra $13 parking fee to find my records. I do NOT recommend this facility for anything.

Nurses in post op urology are the most amazing and compassionate people. I can't express my thanks strongly enough or my admiration for these people.
