2004 & petrified about costmetic surgery, I did a thorough research on all available surgeons in Seattle and ended up scheduling an appt with Dr. Most. I was treated by the entire staff professionally. Dr. Most made a few suggestions and stated that if I was after a dramatic change, he wasn't the guy. I trusted his judgement and underwent surgery within a month. I was thrilled with the results and the overall treatment. I had no 'purple' bruises, some were yellow. I was out socially after 8 days. I am commenting now because I am headed to Stanford for a 'touchup' with complete confidence. My initial results have been pictured on his website for the past 6 years. It may be interesting to post before and after pic's when I've completed this surgery. My suggestion: No matter where you live, include the cost of the plane trip to Stanford when considering your budget for any facial cosmetic surgery.
I have seen Dr. Most on two occasions, at University of Washington Medical Center and later on at Stanford. Both times he was exceptionally caring, taking his time with me, explaining the benefits and limitations of a procedure of this kind unlike many doctors who pressure you to go ahead and go forward with the surgery. He has a very fine aesthetic sense that I trust. He is a rare example of his profession.
I saw Dr. Most for rhinoplasty, submental liposuction, and a chin augmentation in March 2006. At the time he worked for the University of Washington (before being lured away by Stanford!). Despite my being very satisfied with the initial results of all three procedures, Dr. Most insisted that if I ever wanted to see him for a free revision, I was welcome to contact him. While I thought it was very kind of him to offer such additional services (and at no additional charge), I didn't think I would ever take him up on it. Over time, however, I noticed that my nose could use a little adjustment here and there -- truly minor things that only I saw. Fast forward three-and-a-half years later: I have now seen Dr. Most for a total of two rhinoplasty revisions (at Stanford) and am finally 100% satisfied with my face. Throughout my experience with Dr. Most, I have found him to be that rare balance of head and heart that everyone hopes to find in a plastic surgeon -- or any doctor for that matter.
I had a disfiguring biking accident which left most of my face a torn up mess. I was horrified with my situation, my looks would frighten people, and with the seriousness of the damage I had resigned myself to hopelessness. Surgeons across the country however highly recommended Dr.Most to me . When we met he was knowledgeable and understanding of my concerns, and stayed that way as he guided me through the procedure which would return me to my life. He quickly sculpted me back to a regular human being with the expertise you would expect from a Stanford doctor. I was shocked by the quality of his work; a life changing accident was abated to just an unfortunate occurrence thanks to Dr.Most expertise. If you have a problem for a plastic surgeon, and want it solved quickly, honestly, and most importantly professionally, contact Dr.Most.
I had my nose done by Dr. Most on Jan 16th, 2008. I very much liked him, and I liked the result as well. I had no scarring at all and my nose does not even look fake. My only problem is that it truly does not look like I wanted it in the first place. He did an approximation of what I wanted, but am not fully happy with it. I would however go to him for a revision. I liked him a lot! His assistant is very air headed, though. I only had one appointment with him, because she never called back to schedule more and find out how I felt. I was very disappointed by this. But overall, he's a 7 out of 10, taking into consideration the fact that he's talented, but lacks warmth and caring.
I had a cosmetic surgery with him that he botched. I see I'm not alone, which is sad. Every doctor I've been to since in an attempt to fix his inept mess has described word-for-word the exact same opinion on his errors and the probable cause...lack of experience and being in a rush. He looks good on paper, but lacks the experience to back it up.
He is the most incredible doctor he's ever met. Very aloof and uninterested. Not sure about his skills, but the consults (with him) I had resulted in conflicting information, meaning he contradicted himself.
