Neda Shamie has operated on cataracts on both my eyes and replaced the lenses with interocular artificial lenses. My current vision is 20/20 with both eyes, and I cannot remember a previous time when I saw this well. I always was extremely myopic. With the right eye she saved a situation of a broken lens capsule, and performed some cornea trimming so that I can even read without glasses in good light. In the left eye, I have a toric lens due to astigmatism, and no trimming of the cornea, as my astigmatism prevented the standard cornea manipulation.
