She claims to treat ADHD I assume for cynical reasons she knows nothing about ADHD or much else for that matter she's a symbolic of all that's wrong with certain overly self important psychiatrist who are often less practical than GPs but cling to there right to prescribe a certain limited number of meds which they guard this racket or cartel with every fibre of there being its all they have and if commonsense prevails GPs will rightly be able to prescribe ADHD Meds for Adults very soon so that will take the gloss of any psych who's made a lot of money perpetuating fear around these safe meds and then profiting from them its a cynical world

A heinously cut-throat waste of time & money - & irrefutably a rapacious, repugnant parasite. If $350 is a euphemism for $400, then that's highway robbery's pinnacle. Smugly ensconced, in her ivory towers, she would never have, stood a chance if it weren't, for her qualification - indubitably, education isn't the be all & end all! This oleaginously scheming viper's bread & butter, consists merely of minting money, out of misfortunes iniquitiously suffered, by supremely decent folk - paramountly, the unimpeachably deserving poor. Not to mention, the frivolous tardiness complementing, her asinine manner & abruptly ending, a session whereupon commencement - when all she ever did, was pry & prescribe some drug, whilst preciously punching away, at her laptop the entire time. No solicitiousness, or even common empathy or sense - none what-so-ever. In a second's thought, wasted upon Centrelink, one may easily discover stable, respectable employment - if they're self-respectingly sensible & patient, mind it - immaterial, of the exiguous market of jobs. Platitudinously, it's no wonder there, are so many innocents imprisoned, in place of her. Whether in prison, or the wards in Northside clinic, her spare tyre is bound, to encompass all the cells, in which those, wronged sufferers were locked.

Rude, rude, rude First of all she was 15 minutes late in starting my appointment, which for a first up Saturday morning time slot I felt was rude and I got no apology, and seeing it was my first initial consultation was quite unsettling. A short way into the session Dr R Rastogi answered a phone call, and begun to talk to a GP about another patient and their issues, all the while in front of me and not once excusing herself. She continued on to laugh with the caller and then discuss how she didn’t sleep well that night and that she was working early because she had to do a talk later that afternoon..... really. When I challenged her about her rudeness and unprofessionalism she went on to defend herself and how she had to take the call.

Assumed that i would be late because i was late before. Waited in the lobby for an hour because of this assumption. Prescribed me medication and i asked what were the negative/potential side effects and she kept insisting that the drugs have no side effects. She then contradicted herself later in the conversation and subtly said that the drugs will cause nausea and insomnia for the first few weeks. Terrible psychiatrist. Extremely unethical in her practice for lying about the medicine. She barely listened to what was wrong with me and just wanted to prescribe whatever drug she thought was correct at the time of assumption. i had to actually force her to listen about how the drugs affected me and she would change her mind of what drug to give me from her initial assumption. I told her that i had trouble sleeping and she prescribed me an anti psychotic. I read up on this anti psychotic called seroquel and it has extreme negative long term effects and she had the nerve to say there were no side effects. She should get reported. People go to see her thinking that she is responsible for their mental health and she could be doing more damage to people.

Rude reception staff to start. Was late for appointments, made judgemental assumptions of my family and history the whole time which made me feel worse when already in a bad state. Then gave medication innappropriate to my medical history. Please find a different doctor, this one is not good.

Doctor why do you page to see patients in hospital when you know they have gone down for dinner. It shows a lack of compassion and humanity on your part. YOU have decided to arrive on the ward randomly, are in a rush to go home... Please make the time to give the time to the patients that you bill for. How do you even have time to think. Steer clear my fellow sufferers.

took my best friend off his ADHD medication, and then told him that he cannot get rehab treatment for his opiate addiction and he belongs in jail. refuses to prescribe him any medications to help his condition besides ones endorsed by big pharma companies. disgusting feedback about this doctor, and she should be ashamed of herself for her barbaric treatment of a wonderful person.

Awful experience. Rushed due to doctor running late. Did not listen properly. Sat and typed on laptop for whole session. Same questions asked repeatedly because of typing and not listening. Medication first line to treatment and very insistent that it is the only option. No treatment or management plan offered other than medications. No discussion or demonstration of evidence based practice. Did not like being questioned. Contradicted herself when questioned with regard to medication safety, side effects and how drug actually works. Too quick to "diagnose". In a rushed consult following a series of quick fired questions, the diagnosis was made, the prescription written and patient out the door. No management plan or follow-up suggested. Nothing suggested for the period in between the time of starting the medication and when it starts to take effect - 12 weeks ?? Outrageous practice for a medical professional in a speciality that is so dependant on the assessment, correct diagnosis and long term management being safely and properly done so that the patient outcome is good.
