I have been seeing Katumba for several years now after seeing many other doctors in Fort Mcmurray and I have to say he is one of the best (Erin Hibbits was great too but she is not a GP any longer). The current office staff have been very helpful and always polite and cheerful. Jen, the nurse has been great also...I recently had a uterine biopsy done which is an uncomfortable/somewhat painful procedure at the best of times, but Katumba and Jen made me feel more comfortable and minimized the amount of pain. Dr Amara has started at the clinic and I have just seen her once but she took my symptoms seriously and ordered follow up testing (I was on hormone replacement therapy so another doctor might have fluffed off). The punctuality has been great, pretty much on time as far as I can remember. There is a pharmacy right in office which is super helpful. Dr Michael Mayjorad is the owner and pharmacist and has gone over and above for me, as well as his staff. The ladies are friendly and helpful, especially when it comes to sorting out any prescriptions that need renewals. At the end of the day, I know that I am in good hands at Rhema medical clinic.

Dr.Katumba is an awesome Doctor! He is always friendly and makes you feel comfortable and truly cares about your well being. He takes the time to listen and explain and has helped me through so much. As well the Receptionist and Pharmacy staff is very helpful and nice. All Around a great place to go for health care!

Very unprofessional with absolutely no bedside manners

Always been great. Busy, but great, efficient and if you are helpful to him he's helpful to you.

It has been 9 months since Katumba said he would refer me to a specialist and I have heard NOTHING from him or the specialist... NINE months~! No follow up on resubmitting the referral unless I physically go into his office and discuss the progress (which is ZERO) just so he can charge for the visit. I'm sure visiting a doctor at Hardin Walk-In Clinic would be more fruitful... at least they'd have better bedside manners, which again, Katumba has ZERO.

I have had asthma since I was a kid and when I started adding kefir to my diet, I noticed that I no longer needed to take my asthma medication. I told Katumba this and he was not in the least bit interested and I can only assume that that meant he could not charge the Insurance Co for prescription medication that Io no longer need.

Literally, the crappiest doctor I've ever had to see. Terrible bedside manners and calling you "my friend" does not make him a good doctor. Katumba doesn't listen to you. Katumba doesn't like it when you describe your symptoms and tell him what you think they might mean. Katumba is condescending especially if you're a female patient. Katumba doesn't follow up on your referral unless you chase up and make inquiries. Katumba is simply here to milk the system. Katumba was NEVER my choice for my family doctor, my file was passed to him only because Dr Sammi Altayeb left Fort McMurray.

Love this doc. Been with him for a long time. He actually cares. The two ladies up front could use some training for their professionalism & skills as they cop a lot of attitude. They don’t know how to run an office. Dr Katumba is getting overworked and you can see it. Not quite the same touch as he’s had in the past. He’s a good man.

The best in town he cares about his patients and treat me like family.
