Ratings for Dr. Alan Weiss
seems to contradict himself constantly, Dr Weiss comes across as "book smart" but people skills are way off. Dr Weiss is very keen to recommend that you keep coming back however as you spend half the time telling him what you told him or have been through previously -you think he would have written down last time you were there ( such as medications) you are wasting time and money. Come out feeling worse and more helpless than before I went in. I would not recommend Dr Weiss.
Always asks me what medicines I have been on even though he is the one that prescribes them and he is constantly typing on his computer. Thought he should know what he has given me and what the reactions were, this is never the case, it is like starting again each time. Weiss asks how you feel and then proceeds to tell you how you feel. He was helpful for the first couple of months now we are going around in circles and it costs a fortune.
Incline to agree that he knows his stuff but doesn't seem to read his notes to remeber what you are there for. He is difficult to engage with because he is typing on the computer. Just wish he showed a genuine interest in how you are going. Perhaps if he even recapped on what was talked about last it would help.
What a debacle. Never read my notes. He knows his stuff but types everything on a laptop which serves as a barrier between him and the patient. He's a bit of an a'hole to be honest & the fact you can easily get an appointment speaks volumes. He's not very likeable.
