Ratings for Dr. Gregory House (Just for fun!)
I recently performed a post mortem of Dr. House. I'm on my way to Oslo to receive my prize. I'm the first ME whose patient survived the entire procedure. The patient, whose reputation is impeccable, sometimes leaves his patients in need of body parts after he gets through with them. Unlike him, I didn't even place the body parts where I found them and yet...Dr. House survived. I'm taking him to Oslo for show and tell.
This guy is a piece of work. I think he saw me as his entertainment rather than as a patient. I think I heard a slight British accent. While I was in the hospital, I dreamed his staff was in my house watching T.V and eating pizza. I was hoping to see more of Dr. Cuddy if you know what I mean. I think that's why I didn't die immediately; hope is a wonderful thing....so is Dr. Cuddy. Anyway getting back to House I love the way he beats-up people verbally. However when he did it to me I began to cry uncontrollably. I later found out he did it on purpose so the speck of dirt in my eye would come out normally vs needing surgery. The guy is a genius. Unfortunately his staff consists of a bunch of dufus's. They never seem to believe him and again and again he turns out to be correct. You'd think they'd finally trust and believe in him. How come the pharmacist never seems to be on the phone dealing with some insurance company or arguing over price with a patient. And where is the bag balm!!!!!
His staff really care and they don't mind discussing my illness...or should I say guessing...right in front of me. I like hearing about their personal issues during my pain. Gets my mind off it. I must say I was a bit worried when they were supposed to do this one life-saving procedure but Dr. House came in, grabbed the instrument, and quickly jabbed it in my body (no pain killers)at the last second, saving my life. (He wasn't sure it would work but it did...whew) I'm scheduled to have him figure out it my toe is disease ridden or if I just broke it. Maybe he'll find its not really a toe but a huge growth that may kill me if not removed. Who knows but I Can't wait!
Okay, what is up with this guy. First, he does this reversal of roles--tells me that he's diaphoretic, peripatetic, has swelling and edema, and insists he's got a third cranial nerve palsy. Oh, yes, he thinks that he has an auto-immune disorder. Tells me he thinks that he has scleroderma, but even though he's an ass, he doesn't have the telltale pinched rodent face. Likely, he has end-stage liver and renal failure from his vast pill-popping addiction and alcoholism. Finally, he pinched me. Not to worry, I exacted my retribution by running over his cane with my SUV, and then I gave him a Morphine drip until he went bye-bye.
He was popping pills the whole time he was talking to me in the clinic. He wasn't very pleasant at all. He was very sarcastic, in fact. He did give me good medical advice, but I did speak to his supervisor, Dr. Lisa Cuddy about his inappropriate behavior. By the way, she was dressed in a very sexy manner--her blouse was cut down to there and her skirt was way too tight--how does she practice medicine like that????
Are you kidding me? This guy went through five different diagnoses before diagnosing my illness, which is unfortunately terminal. His staff did most of the work, which isn't saying a lot for them either. The worst part is that I almost died several times before they figured out what was wrong! They finally conferred with Dr. Wilson (a real charmer, as well as efficient and knowledgeable), who correctly (and quickly) diagnosed my illness. I swear this House guy was just making stuff up to keep himself amused. He is kinda sexy, though.
A Doctor great in knowledge, however slightly rude and abrupt. This Doctor does not sugar coat advice, nor does he always ask a patient permission before undertaking a proceedure. When explaining symptoms to Dr. House, he doesn't always seem to be paying attention, but in reality he is listening.
Despite his personal hygiene, he has figured out that ties and lab coats are germ carriers. His staff and himself do all the tests and surgeries themselves. I asked if the Darling decision was overturned but never received a reply. I nearly died a few times but was cured when I left. Being PIP, I want to see them fight the insurance company for overutilization. My settlement was poop.
