Ratings for Dr. Larry Keithley
This is the most screwed up business I have ever seen. I have had appointments at least 5 times and showed up and no one ever came or left a note on the door as to why. I understand Dr. Keithley is sick but he should hang up the practice if they are going to prescribe meds to be taken daily and then show up to work whenever they want. I don't even think they have a phone anymore.
This Dr only wants to push his pin. Dr. Larry Keithleydoes not care about his patients well being. He wants to get you addicted to pain pills then switch you to suboxone if and when you get sick of being sick and tired. He is strictly suppose to be prescribing suboxone but doesn't. They do close at random times with no notice or are late getting to the office. The drug test they perform are very expensive leaving you with a bill of $800+ each test and that's with insurance. This Dr. Should be shut down!!!!
This quack of a so called Dr will do everything in his power to get you ADDICTED to pills then leave you out in the cold when you really need help. His wife is his nurse. She comes in so high from pain pills she has not the slightest clue as to what she is doing. She makes the drs. Decisions, not Keithley. Stay away from these people. They are no good. Oh and good luck getting ahold of them, they never answer their phone.
Wonderful doctor. On a side note, I've worked in the medical field and can say no office is perfect. Things happen. People need to get over it. Until you have worked in the public and in their shoes, do not complain about the wait times, as you are treated the same way the last patient was. If you have a problem waiting, then bring a book, your phone/tablet/etc to keep you company, don't go bugging the staff every 30 mins asking when you're next. It's not that hard to be patient and wait... and this is coming from someone who has ADHD.
Let me clarify my rating: Dr. Keithley is a wonderful doctor, he is very nice, caring, and does listen to you..I really like him. What is HORRIBLE is his office in Hampton Cove. Its a $150 copay with no insurance. I have been going for a year and have waited literally every time over 4 hours. They close randomly, even when you have an appointment. The office is filled with junkies and lowlifes. They are slow as slow can be slow, in every way. They also hardly ever answer the phone, wont call back your messages, and almost alwayssss have they forgot to call my meds in when they were supposed to, leaving me with no meds over many weekends. DO NOT GO HERE, EVER...NOT AT ALL.
