It has been almost 5 months since I had the robotic prostatectomy (July 30 ) this year and I am very satisfied with the way Dr. Zorn handled my case from the start to the post-surgery checkups. He is very approachable, makes you feel at ease all the time, knowledgeable in his field and very important is his availability all the time through emails, letting him know of your concerns and getting an answer promptly. For anybody who is contemplating of having a prostatectomy for cancer treatment, I highly recommend Dr. Zorn for he is an expert on this. Thank you doc and more power to you and your team. Antonio

Dr. Zorn is a courteous, attentive, very knowledgeable and an expert at what he does. I had a robotic assisted radical prostatectomy almost 3 years ago. From pre-surgery to post-surgery checkups , care has been exemplary. I contacted him a few days ago regarding a situation where I would be out of the country for a couple of months and could not keep my scheduled appointment. He answered within minutes! I think his skills and knowledge make him the best urologist out there. You’re in the greatest hands with Dr Zorn.——-GF

I am 63 years old and recently had a TURP green light procedure, performed by Dr. Zorn. This is the second time that I have had this procedure, but the first time with Dr. Zorn. I found that this time, my recovery time was a lot shorter than the first time. This time, the catheter was kept in overnight and the next day it was removed at a CLSC. I think that leaving in the catheter was a positive change because it gives time for the inflammation to subside. Whereas the first time, I ended up in the emergency room because if could not urinate. I am very pleased that I changed urologists and would highly recommend Dr. Zorn. Rod

Dan

To start, I should tell you that I am 63, and in generally good health. After my prostate cancer diagnosis this past summer (Gleason 3+4), and after much research about treatment options, I chose Dr. Kevin Zorn as my surgeon. At our first meeting at the end of the summer, Dr. Zorn presented a clear analysis of my case as well as the benefits and risks of robotic assisted radical prostatectomy. His up-to-date knowledge, experience and confidence impressed me, but just as importantly, he turned out to be a clear and personable communicator, something I highly value in a doctor. That commitment through communication, by the way, has continued through prompt email replies to my questions both before and after the surgery. The surgery (in October) and recovery: Judging from my recovery so far, I can say that Dr. Zorn and his team must have done an excellent job in the surgery because I experienced very little pain afterward (and only for a few days), and within a few weeks (3-4) I resumed fairly normal physical activities (short of the weight-training that I did before the surgery). I can also report that I have had very little incontinence problems; I have been pad-free--with only occasional leakage—since about the third or fourth week after the surgery. Less successful than the urinary continence, but nonetheless promising, the penile rehab (with the aid of a Tadalafil prescription) is progressing, but I know I’ll have to be more patient with that. In short, my experience (judging by results and interactions) with Dr. Zorn has been very positive.
