The staff was nice. The doctor wasn’t helpful. I’m an amputee and also have extreme ovulation/menstrual pains. His suggestion was to either do an needling injection on my back (and I told him repeatedly that I don’t like needles) or continue using the medication I was taking (gabapentin 800mg), just use it everyday instead of the as-needed basis I was doing. He didn’t even recommend or suggest another type of medication. His title is ‘Pain Management Program Director’ at the Department of Anesthesiology, but really his title should be ‘Program Director of Piss Poor Bedside Manner and Lack of Empathy’. I wouldn’t recommend him to anyone. If you are an attractive woman or a celebrity, you would have a better shot at getting medication from this guy, though he would disagree with this sentiment.
