Ratings for Dr. Ronnie Schondorf
Horrible had to call his friend in the states I'm a type 1 diabetic comes up with a diagnosis of insulin neuritis. My face is burning my ears my hands. I'm seating dripping wet told him I can't feel the lows can't sleep in my bed have to sleep sitting up. Can't leave my house the pain is excruciating. He tells me it's because my body isn't used to tight sugar control. Tells me it will go away in a year. He's useless!! Couldn't get another appt he wouldn't fill out papers fr the pain clinic for me. I'm trying to get into another neurologist. His secretary is a nasty miserable cow!! Shame on him I wouldn't send a dog to him . Terrible doctor!!
Great doctor no question about it! He's a medical doctor with a PH.D. as well I believe. Felt confident with him right from the beginning and never minded his sense of humour and seriousness. Would recommend him to anyone in need of a neurologist including a family member.
I had to switch neurologists because Dr. Schondorf's specialty is orthostatic tachycardia syndrome and I felt that he just wasn't interested in my case. After two years, I got diagnosed with RRMS, because I took the time to seek a neurologist who actually listened to me and thoroughly investigated my case. It's a detail, but what threw me off with Dr. Schondorf when I first met him is that he actually displays some form of spasticity and tics! Very strange.
Was referred to him because I have severe numbing pain. He came 45 minutes late and said nothing is wrong because I am on medication, which I told him I was not. He did not listen to me, very rude, unprofessional, arrogant. He said an MRI would not show anything and that my problem is urological. I went to a GP and she gave me an MRI reference right away and they found nerve compression. This just shows that he is arrogant and thinks he knows everything, its very important for a doctor TO LISTEN TO THEIR PATIENT
Just saw him today for nerve damage and a pinched nerve. I saw his underling and explained everything that I had multiple doctors confirm I have penile nerve damage, its numb, no sensation and doesnt respond to touching. I dont feel anything when someone grabs and touches it. I was told hat nothing wrong was by another doctor and to take cialis and it gave me severe numbing pain that numbs my testi and right thigh. Ive done multiple research backing up my facts that both my problems are neurological I even went to see another urologist that said my problems are neurological. He came in and said from what he was told WITHOUT DOING AN EXAMINATION stating nothing was wrong yet another neurologist recommended I get an MRI scan and sent me to this doctor. Yet...nothings wrong? I started to take nerve repair supplements and Im feeling slightly better yet Im told nothings wrong? Without examination wtf is that?
Zero bed-side manner. Was being tested for POTS. The results, I gather, were negative. The doctor came in, looked at my results, then looked at me and said, "nothing is wrong." I tried to ask about the results and was rudely dismissed. He repeated, "nothing is wrong" and walked out the door. I am a young senior who had a vibrant career as a sociologist, only to be knocked off my feet four years ago with rheumatological, lung and neurological problems (well noted by other physicians), among other things. While my latest symptoms, identified by two other physicians as orthostatic intolerance (blacking out repeatedly), did not result in a positive POTS diagnosis this man treated me like I was total moron who was wasting his time. Not impressed.
