Ratings for Dr. Mary Timiras
I would not take anyone to see Dr. Timiras. A close relative, who was in acute care rehab, was in need of hospice services and Dr. Timiras was not at all supportive and basically torpedo the process by stating hospice wasn't necessary. After a couple of weeks of numerous trips to the ER and wanting to die because of pain, the patient was taken to her primary care physician who immediately recommended hospice. Since being put in hospice the relative no longer has had to suffer.
Very rude and arrogant. My grandmother died prematurely because she refused to properly taper her off of her xanax. She continuously argued with our family suggesting that she knew my grandmothers needs better than we did. As an aide in a building she works in, I find her bedside manner seriously lacking, and would not suggest any person ever entrust this poor excuse for a doctor.
Arrogant, not open to suggestions, treats old people as throw-aways. Practiced very poor medicine on my father. We fired her & found a doctor with a positive bedside manner, knew geriatrics better than she ever will. If we hadn't gotten rid of her when we did we are certain our dad would have died because he simply didn't get quality care. We question the validity of her billings..in other words we feel she has billed Medicare for services she did not deliver. We have requested billing details from Medicare. There are so many great doctors in the Wenatchee Valley that you do NOT have to go see this poor excuse for a doctor. Choose anyone else.
