Ratings for Dr. B Sonnenberg
Dr. Sonnenberg has been my cardiologist since 2003 when I experienced a heart attack. I consider myself very lucky to be under his care. He is a very caring, approachable, kind and caring doctor. He has a very calm, soft- spoken manner. He patiently listens to my questions and concerns and never rushes to address them. He is very knowledgable and helpful. I feel very confident that I am getting the best medical care possible from him. Thank you Dr. Sonnenberg!
This Doctor is by far the best Doctor I've ever had! I went through a year and half of test and other Doctors, no one could figure out my problem. I knew I had a problem , some things just we're not right and this Doctor on my first visit, ran some test and there was the answer! He got me on the right medication and now feel so much better! Thank you Dr. Sonneneberg you are the best!!!!
Having worked in the healthcare system as a RN and then being at the receiving end of not the best of care, I can only say that Dr. Sonnenberg is a true gift. I have only been fortunate enough to have a similar Cardiac doctor in Vancouver and to the two of them I will be forever grateful as they restored my faith in doctors. Dr. Sonnenberg is a true professional, kind and knowledgeable. His patients are indeed fortunate to have him.
I've never met a doctor as truly caring as Dr. S. He never rushes appointments and has fit me into his day on short notice when necessary, meaning he has to stay late I am sure. He explains things well and truly puts his patient at ease. He has even called me personally which I was very impressed with. I am so lucky to have him as my cardiologist.
I am a long term cardiac patient at the U of A. Dr. Sonnet berg is fantastic. He was in charge of a significant cardiac test I had last week and the 5 member team administering the test worked extremely well together. I had very low stress compared to another time I had this test. His manner is calm and kind.
Received no solution to problem, he was late, did not look up blood work, echo cardiogram, neuological or any other test results. Did not explain answers to questions in a manner that was reasonable or understandable.Dealing with the heart--the only solution was to eat more salt to raise blood pressure which was in a low but acceptabble range.Made unsettling face contortions that I, as an observer and support person(mother) could readily observe.I have observed many cardiologists as my husband has had heart problems for 21 years---but have never encountered this type of disregard and lack of concern. Gave only one suggestion---: see an orthopedic doctor......???
