Ratings for Dr. Jeff Odiet
If he spent more time listening to patient and less time discussing his own problems perhaps he would not miss a serious reaction to a medications he has prescribed. He certainly would not run so much behind with appointments, if he socialized less and listened more. He does not listen enough to patient to truly diagnose what the problem is. Forget seeing him when you are sick and need him, just plan to be sick on his schedule which is rapidly shrinking. Great guy if you want to sit and talk about him, but not if you want to see a doctor. I know more about his family problems than he knows about my medical issues.
Really Good guy and smart dr. But has reduced seeing patients from 45 to 30 hours week. Great for his kids, but not his patients. Now, 7-8 weeks for follow up appointment not unusual. At best, he takes 1 week to respond to an email and sometimes he never bothers to respond at all. When he worked a full-time week, you were always better off just paying & getting in to see him. Now If you need response to an urgent problem, probably best to find another dr. On plus side, he's Attentive and Tries to take his time during office visits but can rush you if he's running late for his kids. He's loading up on patients, which will make all these issues worse.
My experience with Dr. Odiet is that he is the kindest, most compassionate physician I have had. I agree with one rating that he tells it like it is, but he does it in a kind way. He listens. He is extremely knowledgeable. I travel half an hour to see him when there are very competent doctors within walking distance of my home.
