Ratings for Dr. Thomas M. Burghardt
My quality of life has been restricted. I couldn’t stand in line, stand in one spot, drive comfortably, run, golf, ski; I couldn’t even keep up with my kids. My favorite Dr. Burghardt fixed one foot. If the left one goes as well I will have my life back!! No words explain this. Thanks Dr. you’re the best ever. Sandra
I've been seeing Dr. Burghardt for several years for a very unusual bone disease. He has never failed to relieve my discomfort, to listen to my concerns and questions, and answer them. He's done two surgeries on my foot (I've had seven over all), and I will have him do the next one when needed. His surgery is clean and even a little bit homey, so you don't get scared like you do in a operating room in a big hospital. In fact, I'd rather have surgery done there, as it's not a big, soulless hospital where you're just another foot patient. He is the kind of doctor who's not above trimming one's toenails when the patient isn't supple enough anymore to do it him- or herself. I find him to be very professional and yet personable. The staff calls you by your first name. On the whole, I highly recommend Dr. Burghardt for all your foot and ankle problems.
I am very disappointed with my treatment by the doctor and his office. I waited over 30 minutes to see him and then he couldn't answer any of my questions in a way that made sense to me. He didn't seem to care that I didn't understand. The wife of one of the doctors even interrupted my short time with the doctor. She was very abrasive to me and the doctor. No one in his office made me feel welcome. They were abrupt, snobby, and very unfriendly
Dr. Burghardt is extremely knowledgeable about his specialty, but he's also very personable and truly cares about his patients. I have recommended him a number of times to people and will continue to do so. My husband, a diabetic with serious foot ulcer issues, has been seeing Dr. Burghardt for a while now. Dr. Burghardt works very hard to make sure my husband has everything he needs to function well and to heal.
