Needs organizational skills with office staff, so that a 2 hour wait isn't necessary, especially when one has one of the first appointments scheduled. One time I waited over an hour and when the doctor came in she said she forgot I was there!

I believe Dr. Toft is a good Dr. and knows her stuff. However, she lost me as a patient because she wouldn't talk with me over the phone. We had been working on a stomach pain issue where ultrasounds were ordered. Before I received the results I had a severe attack and had gone to the emergency room. I was diagnosed with a gall stone and told I needed surgery. The following day (I had an appointment scheduled with Dr. Toft) I was still in excruciating pain and called to ask if Dr. Toft would please call me at my appointment time. I was told the Dr. doesn't call patients. I informed her staff that I wasn't asking for a phone diagnosis but wanted to know the results of the ultrasounds and if she would recommend gall bladder removal surgery for me based on those results. Needless to say, I didn't get a call and have found another DR. She apparently doesn't want to abide by her doctor's oath and "treat" her patients. Very sad.

Dr. Toft seems friendly and knowledgable. She's always been able to fit me in when I call for an appointment the same day. However the practice needs significant improvement. I have had many problems with the receptionists. They're young, careless and disrespectful. When calling in for an MRI result, I was told that I was fine...no problems. Later that day, they called back to tell me to see a neurologist. Turns out I needed cervical spine surgery. Get your facts straight before calling a patient...or better yet...the doctor should call herself. I'm looking to find a new practice.
