Open air consultation rooms allow everyone waiting to hear your personal medical information. I had to sit in the waiting room for nearly one hour while listening to the doctor badger an elderly woman (she was confused about dropping an old med). Rude and arrogant! Also, charged me $10 per prescription for "same day" service.

I have just dropped Mark Bouffard. I have been seeing him for some time to treat well documented multifocal pain. I have never asked for an increase in the one narcotic pain medication he writes scripts for until last Friday. He told me he increased my prescription which has always been a very low dose but when I arrived at the pharmacy I discovered that he had not changed it at all. For the past 2.5 days I have been deeply troubled by this behaviour, and the sense of profound betrayal. Now I am not certain he is a licensed MD as he states here he is a Physiologist. His male staff is quite rude and his bedside manner has always been poor. I am filing a complaint with the State Medical Board about this health care provider. Remember when reading comments that he may have family or friends write favorable comments that do not reflect the reality. Not at all compassionate. Misrepresents truth. Advise caution.

He might not be touchy-feely, and he is always in a hurry, but he is THE best. He's smart, knows about patient finances, and offers great advice. I wouldn't go to him if I were a whiny crier, though, since he seems like he has no patience for complainers....but who knows. So long as you have a true condition (I have ehler danlos) you should love his efficiency, and his skill with a syringe!

When I saw Dr. Bouffard he was working with Dr. Reinhart. He was a jerk but did address my pain with a great prescription.

Dr Bouffard has been extremely compassionate and understanding when it comes to helping my pain. If you have been struggling along with some tramadol for spine and joint problems, he will be a godsend. However, this is not the place to go to get drugs for recreation. If the doctors don't notice immediately that you are deceiving them, they will find out during a random piss test. My doctor has been able to deflect some risk by using drug tests randomly. These are deluxe tests so don't even think about the fake urine kits. Anyway, the best way to gain a doctors trust is to not be whiny( unless you can't help it ). tears aren't productive here since you are considered tough for bring such a trooper through the pain, so it is best to have a relaxed attitude during your appointments. Your blood pressure and pulse will give away your pain for you. In sum, dr Bouffard will be your best ally if you are genuinely in pain, but don't lie ! He allows use of only 1 pharmacy to refill.

After my March 26th appt. with Dr. Bouffard I waited to hear from Eisenhower to approve of my health insurance coverage for a special X-Ray that I needed. I waited a couple weeks, called Eisenhower and they said they hadn't received my insurance info from Bouffard's. So I called the Dr.s office and they said they'd send that. Then a week later, after another call to Eisenhower, I was told that they still needed the Patient Notes from the Dr.s office. So I called again and they said yes, they would be sending it. So then I waited and waited and never heard from Eisenhower and just gave up. Now, I just received a notice from Blue Shield dated May 30th, that the Imaging Company at Eisenhower still needed the Patient Notes and two other pieces of info that the Dr.s office never sent. I'm quite sure this is an unusual sequence, or this doctor for sure wouldn't stay in business, but it is pretty shockingly bad customer service. Anyway, sorry to report such a negative comment.....

I seen him at D.R. Reinhardt office and he is the best I e ever seen very caring about his patients I rate him as excellent. Gale Sampson.

Dr. Bouffard is no longer in Reinhart's office! He is on his own in a great location. The staff is so much nicer. The wait time is significantly less. Dr. Bouffard is the best! He is compassionate, knowledgeable and very up to date in the latest medicine and technology. I highly recommend him for pain management!

He works in Reinhart,s office; but do not let that ratint deter you. Dr. Bouffard is up on all kinds of other types of meds is knowledgeable on lower prices, generics, works within financial limitations. He is better than my "primary" on new methods from pain to depression to menopause or blood disorders. Compassionate, professional, approachable.
