Ratings for Dr. Roopa K. Shah
I went to Dr Shah with 3 major GI issues.Dr Shah suggested ,a laxitive for painful bloated abdoman, then Amodium for bloody Diahhrea,no comment on the other issues.Four minutes before the sceduled end of appointment I was talking when she abruptly stood & announced "she liked to stay on time" and walked out .I was stunned! This was rudeness at it's lowest. The clinic refunded the charge paid by my insurance company .
Great doctor. I changed once to an internal medicine guy because someone suggested my chronic conditions caused complications that an internal medicine person should deal with. What a mistake. So I came back to Dr Shah. She always has read my chart before she comes in and she never makes light of anything I mention to her. An excellent doctor and an excellent communicator. She now has my mother and my father as patients too. She has some great nurses also.
I saw this doctor for years before deciding to get out. When my sleep problems started and I told her I was sleeping until three pm, and fifteen hours straight, she said she wished she could sleep that late and that much, but she had two kids and couldn't, and just brushed it off as me catching up on sleep that I missed from the week. There were other instances of stupidity that I can't think of at the moment, but there were definitely more. I finally looked for another doctor this year, though I didn't find a better one.
