Ratings for Dr. S. Harbour Stephens
Took over my recovery when my primary urology doctor/surgeon left the practice without much notice. Wish I had had Dr. Stephens as my first and only urology doctor--and as my surgeon for my cancer surgery. He spends as much time as necessary explaining my situation to me and my prognosis--and is always encouraging.
Dr. Stephens has treated my mother for approximately 2 years. He began treating her at a satellite office and when she later moved to Mobile with me he has continued to treat her at his Providence Hospital office. We have found Dr. Stephens always compassionate, concerned, and knowledgeable. He was able to help my mother when no one else had while combating other conditions and medications for those conditions which made his treatment much more difficult. Dr. Stephens always has a smile and great bedside manner and my mom always leaves her appointment with him with a much more positive and optimistic attitude. Thank you Dr. Stephens
WORST DOCOTR EVER! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH HIM! I HAD TO BRING HIM LITERATURE ON KIDNEY STONES!!! NEVER GO TO A DOCTOR WHERE YOU KNOW MORE THAN THEY DO! He REFUSES to give me any sort of medical help even though I'm passing my 72ND KIDNEY STONE! I'm currently working on changing the whole urologist group since even his nurses won't return your phone calls and are VERY RUDE. Doctor has absolutely ZERO trust with his patients and will not take ANYTHING you say into consideration
Took me right away with only a 1 day notice as a new patient. Worked me in without an appointment within 30 minutes of arrival. Had a great "bedside" manner and kept the mood very light. Went in for Kidney stones. He showed me results of CT scan and talked over any questions I had until I was finished. Great guy and fine doctor.
