The first thing I noticed at Agoka Dental USA was a sense of organization throughout the facility. It starts off with a personal phone call from the dentist, Dr. Kalra, the evening before your first visit. When you arrive, you are greeted by well-trained staff--back to that in a minute. You, of course, fill out a full medical history; you are interviewed by a very professional staff member regarding your concerns, desires, and so on; you are presented with an informative video; they take lots of photos; you are given a tour of the office, which is exemplary: high-tech equipment, up-to-date computers, clean and sterile room, panoramic x-ray equipment, soothing patient room d├ęcor, and on and on. Every time I've gone there they check my blood pressure. Blood pressure? No other dentist I've had did that. Why? Apparently Novocain and other numbing medications can cause people with high blood pressure to have reactions. They're that good. Okay. A lot of promotional fluff you might ask? Any entrepreneur could do that, right? Right. But what about your teeth? In my case, he worked on this tooth and that tooth, and he also performed a surgery. The surgery was required because my previous dentist, apparently, didn't take the time to sufficiently clean an infected area in my gum, causing it to continually get re-infected and eat away into the bone. Dr. Kalra came in to fix that, and I can say, after several months of healing, it's perfect. But first, he was meticulous in doing my fillings, taking special effort to seal them with a coating so they would last longer. He just seemed to spend a lot of extra time being careful--a lot more time on a couple of fillings than I would have expected. Dr. Kalra comes across as being more concerned about me than getting on to the next patient. The next morning we had scheduled what was supposed to be a brief surgery: ". . . just a little cleaning and a bone implant." Well, Dr. Kalra spent hours cleaning out this inflamed area, preparing for the bone implant. He just kept on working, basically scraping over and over in hard to reach areas. It's just what needed to be done, and he obviously spent way more time getting it perfect than either of us had anticipated--at no extra charge, by the way. As an aside, I waited three months to write this recommendation to make sure the results came out okay. Yes, the infection appears to be gone, and my recommendation stands. Then there's the teeth cleaning. All I can say is that the dental hygienist was ridiculously careful. She went tooth by tooth, spending way more time, per tooth, than anything I've experienced in the past. I have had my teeth cleaned more than a few times in my life, and she is the best. This seems to be the culture in Dr. Kalra's office: Not only was the dental hygienist good, but more importantly, THEY GAVE HER ALL THE TIME SHE NEEDED TO DO A GREAT JOB--and she took that time and did a great job. This is the mentality of Agoka: Afford the workers whatever time it takes to do the job perfectly, even if that includes the dentist having to spend more time on each patient to get whatever needs to be done right up to his standards. High standards. Dr. Agoka and his staff are ethically motivated to do what's right. Back to the well-trained staff: Through my association with his employees, I have become aware that Dr. Kalra sends his entire office staff to various major US cities a couple of times a year for seminars which train them how to run a near-perfect 21st Century dental facility. I believe this near-perfect 21st Century dental facility is personified by Agoka Dental USA. That said, it would be hard to imagine a dentist who would go to all this extra trouble and expense to run an exemplary office and not do an exemplary job when it comes down to your actual teeth. Yes, I'm here to tell you, he does spend a lot of time doing a really good job. So, how did I choose Agoka Dental USA? I am a friend of a dentist who has worked with Dr. Kalra and many other dentists in the Tampa Bay Area. When a dentist recommends another dentist, I think you've got something there. To finish, I note that I was invited to a Patient Appreciation Event organized by Dr. Kalra for his patients. There, I met several Tampa Bay area physicians who took the time to attend this event, which I found to be pretty impressive in and of itself. Dr. Kalra does their dentistry. These doctors' comments and recommendations reverberated as to how meticulously careful this dentist actually is: They universally praise and respect Dr. Kalra and his work ethic. They reinforced my already high regard for this dentist. I'm no slouch myself. As such, I do too highly recommend Agoka Dental USA based on my personal experiences with the dentist who runs the show, Dr. Kalra. I have not seen anything even close to this in the dental arena. Ergo this detailed review. Greg Caminiti

I was thinking of going out of the country for some major dental work. Unfortunately, my root canals wouldn't let me :( I searched in town for prices on what I needed and it was much more than I could afford on my fixed income and part time job. I finally found Dr Kalra through some other great referrals on the internet and took a chance as he was 'reasonably priced'...what LUCK that was as he turned out to be not only a great dentist but a wonderful human being! He is 'gentle' (7 hours in the chair, 2 root canals, 4 extractions, and a crown) with only novacaine!! He listens to what you want, he is a problem solver, and he wants you to leave a happy patient! In addition to that...every single person in the office was amazing! The very first person that you come in contact with is Rosemary and she is the very very BEST!!! The staff is great and pleasant every time. I feel like family and now that this first stage is almost done, I am going to have Dr. Kalra do the rest of my work
