Ratings for Dr. Alexis A. Wiesenthal
How this doctor can be "Most Compassionate" if she even never touched to me?! She thinks only about your $$$. All her prescriptions (very expensive) did not work for me. I checked her recommendations with specialists and they were very surprized by her decision. How she can be geriatrician, if she told me that do not accept medicare?? Absolutely agree with last posters.
I have never had such a negative experience with a doctor in my life. It is incredibly difficult to make an appointment for ANYTHING unless you are willing to wait a week to two weeks out (God forbid you have an emergency and need to see someone same day). But hey! Don't worry they'll tell you go to an Urgent Care because you are just THAT special to them. I have no idea how this woman has been rated "Most Compassionate" yet can't even return a patient's phone call in a timely manner for an over the phone assessment (yes, if she is busy she'll see you over the phone - but for a hefty price). Don't waste your time seeing this woman. She doesn't give a crap about you or your medical problems. She merely wants to fill up schedule every day.
Extremely thorough doctor. She addressed all my medical issues very completely and competently. A really caring doctor. I saw Alexis Wiesenthal trained at the Mayo Clinic, so I was certainly happy to see that, since it's the most prestigious clinic in the world!
This Doctor has established a new practice in San Antonio, Tx. She is very dedicated to her profession and, in my opionion, is very concerned about the well being of her patients. I have no problem with recommending her for anyone looking for a good internist.
