Ratings for Dr. Deserae J. Goble
I went to see Dr. Goble after moving here, she pretty much treated me the same as the guy who went to see her regarding pain. A good doctor would help you no matter what, not dump you. It seems Cache Valley people have a problem so all the doctors are scared to help you if you take pain meds.
I went to see Dr Goble because I had a pain in my back. Other doctors said I just had IBS. But my symptoms didn't fit the symptoms of IBS and I was really frustrated. When I went to Dr Goble's office she listened to all my concerns and what I thought was wrong. She ran a lot of tests and didn't just diagnose something without proof. She ultimately diagnosed me with PCOS, started my treatment, and my pain and other symptoms are gone or are being addressed. She was a very attentive doctor, she listened to all my concerns and didn't disregard anything that I said. But she was honest and made sure that I understood that my condition was up to me to fix, medications wouldn't do everything for me. I will continue to see her and I would recommend her to anyone.
I I recently moved to Utah from California and I was looking for a Doctor to help me with my degenerative bone (and bulging discs) disease. I have been taking Methadone for back pain (as was prescribed by the Kaiser pain clinic nearest to my home in California) for the better part of five years. The Methadone was prescribed because I am allergic to certain Morphine related medication. When I asked Dr. Goble (whom I hoped would help me) she said that I was an addict I should go to the nearest methadone clinic and get off the medication even though I do not ever take more then is prescribed, in fact, often less. When I asked her what would she prescribe to control my pain she said nothing " many people live with pain" When I explained to her that an addict is one who takes more and more of a drug to get high not the prescribed amount to control pain she got up and left the room refusing to help me further.
