I was referred to Dr. Choby. I was able to get in quickly and the appointment went so well, if I needed a root canal again, there is no hesitation in whom I would choose. A true professional and a wonderful dentist.
I have been going to Dr. Choby since 2009. Before, going to the dentist was a torture, but now I don't think twice about it. Dr. Choby is very knowledgeable, experienced, but most importantly attentive to your needs and sincerely cares for her patients. Anytime I have an emergency, she can see me right away and that is very comforting. The staff is also very friendly and rather accommodating. I suggest Dr. Choby to all of my friends. I'd give it 10 stars if I could.
Dr. Choby was so efficient and effective. She double checked her procedure every step of the way visually and multiple x-rays. The procedure took a bit over an hour and as virtually painless and not uncomfortable. She was very pleasant making pleasant small talk about things of common interest in our early discussion. She is a fabulous endodontist that I highly recommend.
I was referred to Dr. Choby by my dentist because of a possibly complicated root canal. the office is nestled in the middle of the office buildings in tysons corner. The office was modern and squeaky clean. Dr. Choby was very kind and professional. My root canal did not hurt at all. its been a couple of hours and im still alright...i only took one round of 800 mg ibuprofen. I am extremely satisfied with my experience...thanks dr. choby!
I went to Doctor Choby a year ago for a root canal. A year later the tooth had a infection since there was something wrong. I went back to her and she took a CT scan and told me to come back a week later. When I did, she could not find the CT Scan and she was frustrated by this. She went forward and it was clear she was not doing very well. She stopped and said that she needed me to come back yet again. It sounds like to me that she has no incentive to do a very good job if she can keep making money off of her inability to the job right the first, second or third time. Each time I would have to return she quoted higher and higher fees than even the original root canal. She still has not found the CT scan to this day but I still got charged for it. Your experience might be different but how many times and how much money do I need to pay for her not to be organized much less able to do her job? My feeling is her time has past and she needs to retire.
Dr. Choby made a root canal an actual pleasant experience. I was very afraid and delayed getting treatment for months but am glad I made the right choice to see her. She is very pleasant and understanding and wow, what a relief not to be in pain.
I didn't find her to be very good. I went in for a fracture/root canal and she kept asking me if the pain was in which tooth? I though that is why she is the dentist? Anyways 3 months after I am still in pain.
this practioner is above all very kind. she is very careful to avoid pain during a procedure. she is helpful on describing what she is doing. she does not mind questions. she is vey high tech with lasers, digital xrays and ct scans. i have very little issues with insurance claims because this is a very efficient office. staff is great too A+
Timely, handled emergency quickly. Thoroughly explained procedure. Digital xray displayed visual to me within 90 seconds. Dr Choby numbed gum in small increments which I appreciated. Uses latest laser technology to minimize discomfort. Highly educated and trained.Excellent chairside manners. Unlike "production dentists", she has only one chair and gave her full attention to my needs. Very attentive to even slight pain. Took time to numb area as needed without over medicating. I have been her patient on three previous events. She is always courteous and responsive. Her office is always on the cutting edge of new technology. Her new Kodak CT maxo facial scanner showed a three dimensional view of a root fracture that would have been impossible without this desire to get the best possible diagnosis for her patient..me ! I am pleased with her, her bi-lingual receptionist, and her evident concern for the concerns of the patient in her chair. Five Stars at least !
