Ratings for Dr. Esa A Bloedon
I agree with the comment below. He offered antibiotics for me to even though when he looked at my nose with the camera, he found no signs of an infection. He said he only suggested it because I was so afraid if steroids due to an abdominal issue. He scared me. Then later on he ordered a ct sinus brain lab protocol and said that test would let him know for sure what I had. Im going to another ent now hope he knows what he's doing
Dr was very personable, reviewed my records at every visit, explained procedure he was performing, explained tests he ordered, asked me questions about my understanding. Billing dept needs improvement. Dr called me personally with test results, more than once.
He started to refer us to X-ray, CT, MRI one by one assuming that everybody can pay all these expensive options. And at the end, he said he didn't know what was wrong so he would refer to another doctor. On top of these, he started an unnecessary antibiotics treatment which cost 400$ for 2 weeks supply where a generic version of the same antibiotics was available for 4$. When asked, his defense was; our pharmacy was too expensive where as their hospital's pharmacy didn't sell it for that price. He even didn't know the price of the same medication in their hospital pharmacy. He seemed to be after the money but not the health or well-being of his patients. And more importantly, he didn't seem too eager to answer the how to fix the problem questions.
