sometimes Doctors run late. I find she is usually on time within 15 mins. If you have and emergency or need to see her right away, I her the reception Craig constantly telling people to call back in the morning 9am she usually has emergency spots open. You can book online through yocale it's been easy to use. When blood work or other tests come back they are quick to call you. She also is great at referring you to great specialists. And follows up with you about them. I also find she doesn't pressure you to lose weight, and is reasonable about suggestions how to stay healthy. She's personable and easy to talk to. She has down to earth English charm. She also trained as a surgeon and will do simple procedures in the office like removal of cysts in your arm. When dr Bergstrom would not. She's younger and will be around for a long time.
The comments about Craig the receptionist from october and november 2015 are old news. Craig provides excellent support for Bella and her patients. I have had consistent excellent service from him. He is very skilled at making space for patient visits. I give them both 5 stars in every category.
My family absolutely adore Dr. Bella. We are so fortunate to have such a caring Doctor take over for Dr. Bergstrom whom we loved. Craig is getting much more comfortable with the patients as he gets more comfortable with his job. Our experience has been almost 100% positive. Love our Dr. Bella.
As for Craig.i guess the mentally of people is that it is alright for women to enter the men's world but not for a man to enter a traditional women's job. Very sad. Please take your head out of the sand. I find both Bella and Craig to be warm, kind and genuinely concerned for your the individuals health. I dislike changing Dr's 37 yrs ago we had Dr Jocelyn. He went back to England. 36 yrs ago in came Bergstrom. Now Bella. My family has been very fortunate. Even when we moved from North Van. We never changed Dr's. Please people if you don't someone because you didn't get what you thought you deserved. Then move on and don't make negative comments.
Took my son to the Park & Tilford Clinic (he was nervous as he had a couple of bad experiences with doctors on previous visits). Its a walk-in clinic, there were 6 patients ahead of us, it was late in the evening, so we knew we'd have to wait. During our 45 minute wait time I listened to Dr. Hughan in between patients - I was so impressed by her compassion, kindness, helpfulness & professionalism as she dismissed each patient. Was feeling so happy for my son, that he was going to have a good experience with a clinic doctor (don't get me wrong, I'm sure there are many good ones, unfortunately the last few we experience had none of Dr. Hughan's aforementioned qualities). Also during our wait I was very impressed by the attentiveness, friendliness, patience & kindness of the clinic receptionist, Janine. Both Dr. Hughan & Janine made each patient feel comfortable and treated with respect. Would like to also mention that after our visit (a blood test was necessary) I needed to call the clinic several times and each time I was impressed by the patience & kindness of each receptionist - Penny, Taylor, Rachel & Susan. Obviously Park & Tilford has done a wonderful job hiring the front desk staff - thank you!
I have been through many doctors over the years and Dr. Hughan is by far the most considerate doctor I've ever had the pleasure of seeing. She does everything I ask of her and is very patient with me. Her front desk personal is very respectful and I would highly recommended her to anyone!
I am absolutely shocked that some have said that Craig the receptionist is not polite. Some people are never happy and completely misinterpret people.I know this as I work for Safeway and am shocked how many people have tunnel vision .I have been 100 % satisfied with his mannerisms , advice etc. and 100% thrilled with Dr.Hughan. These people who complained about him probably gave him a reason to react a way that they did not like. One can only have sop much patience with patients if they are being unreasonable.I am sure if they complained about him the old receptionist Joanne was probably very rude to them.
Excellent caring physician, highly recommended! It is unfortunate that she is in such demand that one has to book appointments weeks in advance to see her. I find that her receptionist (Husband) is great, I have seen him looking after patients babies while Mom's were in to see the Doctor, and they were excellently looked after. I give them five stars!
I too, am extremely disappointed with the mannerisms of her husband, both on the phone and in the office. You are treated as if you are a bloody pain in the neck and not a patient who is in need of help. If you are ill and need to see Isabelle, there is not a chance that you are going to be able to do that, because you have to book an appt. two to three weeks in advance. All right then I think I am going to have the flu six weeks from now, let me call up that rude person who answers the phone and make an appointment for my up-coming flu.Maybe I will get lucky. This is not how a doctor should run her practice. Compassion and availability (within limits) are a must or no matter how wonderful a doctor you are, you are simply not doing what your job asks for if your patients who are in need cannot reach you. I am looking for a new doctor thank you.
