Ratings for Dr. Patricia L. Wiggins
Do not go to this "doctor" with a workers comp claim, this is clearly on side of insurance companies. has little interest in my welfare or problem. Ignorant as well, I really don't feel she is qualified. Worst experience with a doctor I ever had. Pathetic.
Most workers comp doctors will minimize your pain, symptoms, quality of care, seriousness of injury, and length of treatment. Wiggins make them seem like angels. You must exaggerate all your claims, make sure she notes all your comments, and insist on specialists because she is a general doctor who has to refer you to the real doctor you have to see for proper treatment. Complain, complain, complain, because you only have to deal with her for the first 30 days, after that you can see anyone you want. Remember she is not looking out for you, she is looking out for your workplaces insurance company.
very poor office environment, dingy. No charts or graphs or models of human body. Seems very unknowledgable about RMI and other workers comp related issues. Argues with me that an optometrist is not a doctor, sends me to wrong doctors for further evaluation. Very grumpy person, paid very little attention to the issue I am having, tested ear, reflex, lungs, etc, etc, basically a standard physical, but did not address or listen to the injury. Appears to be going through the motions to minimize worker comp claims. One of the least knowledgeable doctors I have ever been to, and prone to completely ignoring demonstrated evidence I brought in from other qualified doctors. Stay away from this doctor if you are workers comp, she seems more interested in marginalizing claims for the benefit of insurance companies. I felt a real conflict of interest here.
