Ratings for Dr. Paul S. Denker
Had high calcium levels and no one could figure it out. First visit he went on line pulled up all my old testing and XRays, did a full exam and told me he thought I had Myeloma, Went to a hematologist and that is exactly what I had. I am now in treatment. Lord knows how long it would have taken until someone figured it out.
I was looking for a specialist since I have hypothyroidism and the last time my GP ran blood tests, they were off the chart! Dr Denker told me I also have Hasimoto Syndrome and that my children are also at risk and need to be checked throughout their lives! Good to know! Generally, I do not like doctors. Most have what I call a God-Complex and do not take sufficient time to explain things. Dr Denker is a jewel! He went through the does and don'ts of what I should watch out for and for the first time somebody told me to wait a FULL HOUR, not a half hour, before eating food after taking my morning thyroid meds. We still don't have it quite right but we are getting there, with two tablets in the morning and one in the afternoon. He calls personally with blood results and took me to his bookkeeper to see if there was any way they could accept my daughter's health insurance, since the front desk said a flat NO to Humana HMO. Dr Denker gets an A+ from me!!!!
