Ratings for Dr. Tina C. Venetos
I have worked in dermatology, I sent my husband here , BIG MISTAKE!!!! she LOVES to remove moles to make money despite them appearing benign. she could have shaved the mole, for the biopsy , but went for the bigger excisional money first, this was located over his shoulder where all biopsies will spread, he now has a huge keloid spread scar in place of a small mole. I wish I had been at his appointment with him. This would have never been allowed. A true money making office .
If you have plenty of time to spare, you may want to use the services of this office. I however, do not. I have been to the office and met with both Dr. Venetos and Amy Brownlee on several occasions over the past several years for a problem area on my leg. Biopsies have confirmed the condition, the treatment plans to date have not been successful. Most recently I requested a follow up appointment with Amy Brownlee for a review of the situation due to yet another course of unsuccessful treatment. I arrived at the office early for my appointment and my co-pay was taken immediately. Within 5 minutes I was ushered to the exam room, my information was then reviewed with a staff member. At that time I was advised that I would be seen within a few minutes. Thereafter I sat in the exam room for 25 minutes. At no point did anyone check on me or say that Amy was running late. I finally went to the desk and advised that I needed to leave since I had to return to work. I was treated as if my time is unimportant. It is unfair to the patient to expect them to wait due to overbooking. I was advised that the doctor is very busy, but I could be seen at that point and asked if I wished to re-schedule. My time is valuable I declined their offer and requested a call from either Dr. Venetos or Amy Brownlee. It is now 24 hours later and I have not received a call from either, they must be too busy for their patients.
DO NOT GO HERE FOR LASER HAIR REMOVAL! I was burned very badly on my face. The wound is very deep and will not heal for several weeks. The doctor and assistant who botched the procedure were very cold and unsympathetic. I had to pay for 2 prescriptions to help with the burn. The doctor had no advice other than not to pick the wound, and to wear sunscreen. If you do not want scar/s on your face, do not go here for laser hair removal. In fact, I would avoid this doctor and her staff at any cost.
This doctor is unfriendly and barely looked at me. She was focused on her tablet and didn't seem interested in the reasons I was there. Her staff was distant and difficult to deal with. When I received my bill I was totally blown away, the amount charged for a 3 minute visit with no testing done is outrageous.
The office staff is nice and professional. Dr. venetos is in a hurry and is only interested in removing moles. She ignored my questions about my red face. I was taken into a room after waiting 35 minutes in the waiting room, only to wait another 15 in the room. She is always in a hurry and way behing schedule. The waiting room is too small and it is standing room only. I learned from sitting in the waiting room that i was not her only 11:00 patient--there were at least 4 of us! I will not go back. she is rude and always rushed.Horrible bedside manner
I waited over an hour. If I had not paid my co-pay up front I would have left. Staff at check-in were not very friendly. Waiting area was so crowded I had to sit out in hallway! When I finally saw the Dr. she answered my questions but seemed like she was in a hurry to get to next patient since she was so behind schedule. She apoloized for the long wait as she was walking out the door with her back toward me. Very disappointed in the service. Maybe she was having a bad day but she could have shown more empathy to someone who was new to her practice. I won't be going back to the office.
