Ratings for Dr. James R. Bieber
To be honest, you're not ever going to meet a "good psychiatrist" that can help you. They believe MEDICINE cures behavioral problems. It does the direct opposite. In fact, all medicine does is support the problem more. This guy is nice but if you're looking for his help, think about his profession. Do you really think he's going to solve any of your behavioral problems that you have? No. For anyone who reads this (which is likely no one), try Psychologytoday for a THERAPIST, not a psychiatrist.
For over a year I did nothing more than pick up a prescription in person for which my insurance company was billed for a consultation. As soon as I questioned the bill he confirmed that the prescription could in fact be mailed instead and my insurance company wouldn't be billed in the future. This might have gone on forever as my insurance company always paid even though there was never an actual consultation.
The most uncaring doctor I have ever experienced, good with fixing everything with a prescription and sends you on your merry way....you feel worse when you leave his office, not how a psychiatrist should make you feel can't believe this man actually has a practice.
Rude, arrogant and dismissive. Gets you in and out of the office as quickly as possible, almost robotically, providing refills but hardly speaks to you. Behaves as if you are taking up his time if asked questions. Takes calls during appointment.
