Oh my, this man. Can't call him a doctor, after so many visits I don't think he knew anything about me. He just didn't care. Just putting in time and waiting for his paycheck. I didn't give damn about his girlfriend. I didn't want to see all the pictures he showed me of him and her in fancy restaurants, or just her dressed to the nines, I didn't care that she worked in a lab at red deer hospital. I NEEDED TO TALK ABOUT ME! Why I was there. What I could do to feel better. For him to dig and make me talk about the root and reason I was there. He's still there and thats a shame. For all of us....

Waited quite a while in his Red Deer office each time to see him in 2023. What a disappointment. Doesn’t seem to care to listen. He’s an arrogant, know it all. Not sure if he really cares to help. I think he just makes up diagnosis so he can push pills. Each time I saw him I just felt worse after. Avoid this “doctor” if you can. He’s a liar and should just retire. Seems like he there just for the money and not to actually listen and help people.

Through out my time of being a patient of dr. Beshai he has always been very patient with me. My recovery has been a long process and he has seen me through every step of the way. I owe huge thanks!

Totally disorganized. A nice guy, I think he has best intentions at heart, but as others have posted here, he takes forever to ever complete important required paperwork and wait times can be ridiculously long at his office….. sometimes he’s not even there when I arrive there to wait. He would be doing the world a big favour if he retired. Sorry but one star is all I can give this guy.

This "medical professional", who has pledged to adhere to the principles of "do no harm," has demonstrated a concerning disregard for the well-being of his patients, leading to a growing sense of despair and thoughts of suicide in my case. During a visit in October 2023, I personally witnessed this individual charge me $100 for completing disability paperwork, yet to this date, at the end of June 2023, he has failed to submit it as promised. Given his evident incompetence and lack of dedication to his professional responsibilities, I intend to file a formal complaint against him. It is disheartening that each appointment commences with an inquiry about drug use, despite the fact that I have never engaged in any illicit substance throughout my entire life. I have reached a point where I can no longer tolerate being dismissed and disregarded. It is my firm belief that this individual can no longer be entrusted with a medical license.

I've seen him for over a year and has helped prescribe medications that work for me. We had some trial and error with a few but now the types and doses are working well. He does forget to sometimes do the correct updated prescription amounts or refills for enough time between appointments which can be a hassle. But in knowing his workload, I have sympathy for some of these types of errors that always get remedied

I saw Dr. Beshai for a little over a year, I left every appointment feeling worse than I did walking in. He was unable to remember my diagnoses, the medications I was on and any slightly important detail. If he did bother to take notes during my appointment it was on scrap paper from the garbage can. I tried for 8 weeks to have him sign a form so I could be reimbursed for the medication he put me on and his solution to not signing the form was to switch my medication. I saw him for the last time in the middle of a breakdown after I had been Form 1’d and sent to Ponoka and he decided I was unwilling to treat my illness. I have been without a psychiatrist for 17 months now and it’s wearing on me. My family doctor is out of ideas on how to help me. I would not recommend Dr. Beshai to anyone.

He’s senile. Im an educated man who is also a lawyer and retired cop and veteran.. I was sent to him because my doctor didn’t feel comfortable prescribing my long term meds for PTSD. Over the last few years, he’s made numerous mistakes with my simple prescriptions that are unacceptable and incompetent. These mistakes have caused me tremendous stress, time and frustration to track him down to fix. He then becomes belligerent. He’s lucky I haven’t killed my self. The proof is laid out for the college and my family if I do. And it’ll be his fault and the fault of the College. I can’t find another doctor. Without one I’ll die. Avoid this old fool at all costs

Never refills my meds on time, making me scramble to get them refilled. Belittles his patients and does not respect them. Absolutely horrible at ensuring his clients needs are met in a timely manner. Can not accept criticism to save his life and if you dare say anything critical about him, will suggest you see a different psychiatrist. A rock would make a better psychiatrist.

Was late to the appointment, because he was hitting the vending machine for a snack. Called me “a soft little sensitive boy” when I was asked to describe my depression, anxiety, and suicidal ideations. He is a complete joke a Psychiatrist and I don’t not recommend. His offer to the solution was an immediate hop into a high dosage of Xanax. That type of neglect and malpractice is why there is such a drug epidemic in this city. Poor practice from this “MD,” do not go seek his help if you want efficient and effective results.
